What I Wear Running (+ a giveaway!)

When I hit the road running, I almost always wear this uniform:



I mostly use the MotionX GPS app (to keep track of time/speed) and the Charity Miles app (to give to a good cause).

Before heading out the door, I pull my hair back into a ponytail and stretch on a Sparkly Soul headband to keep any flyaways out of my face. The best part about these headbands is that they’re super soft – NO pinching or “headband headaches.” BONUS: they’re pretty.

    I just wear clothes that are cool and comfortable. :) And I don’t have a smart phone, so no apps!

    I wear an old tshirt and yoga capris usually. I have new New Balance shoes that I’ve been testing out lately. I do Map My Run if I’m going a new route…

    An old Tshirt, some athletic pants and my hair tied back. I did just get some Altra zero-drop shoes, which I am excited about. I don’t use a running app but I will look into the ones you recommend.

    I wear yoga pants and a loose tank for when I do yoga and pilates. I have a pair of Nikes and compression pants I wear for running/cardio

    I usually wear stretchy black pants and some sort of top. I liked map my run app when I was running outside, but now I’m using gymboss for a timer when I’m lifting weights!

    Have I worn those running shoes? Hmm. If I did, they were very comfortable. Stretchy black capris or leggings are what I wear and an old t-shirt or tank or sweatshirt (depending on the weather). Looking for new apps all the time so I will have to try the ones you recommend.

    I wear New Balance shoes and Nike shorts with lululemon top… but in the winter, I go for lulu bottoms as well.

    If I run, which is rare, I wear black legging capris. I prefer to walk… To the library, the coffee shop, the playground, and then I just wear jeans and tshirts and whatever jacket I need. I am really looking forward to more walking now that spring in near!!

    My workout clothes are not impressive – some pair of shorts or light weight sweats and a t-shirt. :-)

    I love my compression capris from Old Navy (bonus: they’re bright blue!) and my tank top that says “I don’t sweat, I sparkle.” It gets lots of smiles :)

    I usually use running tights and tank top to work run in. I don’t currently use any fitness apps.

    I typically just wear running shorts and a baggy tee… I love athletic tank tops too but sometimes a tee is just more comfortable! My favorite fitness app and the only one I normally use is “mapmyrun”. Love it and use it to track my distance/time!

    My favorite fitness app is “My Fitness Pal”. Keeps track of your calories/food intake, and deducts for all the time you workout. It’s fantastic!
    I usually wear yoga pants or shorts depending on the season and adidas sweatshirt or t-shirt.

    I wear comfy yoga pants, a loose t-shirt with a stretchy camisole underneath, and running/walking shoes. I don’t use any fitness apps; I keep track of my progress using my iPad/iPod Notes.
