2010 CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE

2010 CHRISTMAS GIFT GUIDE 1I love giving gifts all throughout the year. It's a thrill to brainstorm gift ideas for family & friends (I have a running list)...and then to figure out ways to surprise people with the things they want/need the most.

I like receiving gifts too, but that's not as important. In fact, I wouldn't mind at all if I didn't get a single present for Christmas. (I mean that).

I'm a little bit like Charlie Brown. I don't like the commercialism of Christmas. It's all too much. I prefer simple celebrations that revolve around making memories.

In fact, sometimes I think I'd rather not to do gifts at all on Christmas Day. I might like to do something like this instead: have a waffle breakfast, go sledding or hiking depending on the weather, and read the Christmas story with hot cocoa in hand. Or something like that.

I'm intentionally keeping the gift guide small this year...with an emphasis on practical products that people can use every day (shoes, clothes, etc.).

Here’s how the guide will work: I will be posting a variety of ideas beginning today through Saturday, December 3rd. As posts are published, I will add them to this post so that you can have a comprehensive spot to gather ideas.

To enter the giveaways, go to each post and leave a comment. Have fun! All giveaways will close on Saturday, December 11th.

Comments are closed on this post, but feel free to e-mail me at [email protected] if you have questions.
