  1. So sorry to hear you are experiencing morning sickness.... however, what a great reason to feel like crap!!! I am also currently housing a little miracle and can empathize with you.

  2. My oh my, you are sick for quite some time.

Hope it's not as severe as it seems!

My month-long giveaway starts on Monday. Thanks for passing the news on to your readers, if you recover in September!

    :) Christina

  3. You have a wonderfully informative blog, I could spend hours, day's, week's surfing around. I just started my first blog, I'm a new mom, new chiropractor, and new business owner. I lookforward to spending more time on your blog! Congrats on your pregnancy and I hope your morning sickness passes soon!

  4. We all understand. Don't worry about us; we'll be here when you get back. Just rest, try to keep fluids in you so you don't get dehydrated (try fruit instead of liquids) and take care. {{{hugs}}}

  5. I am sooooo sorry to hear you are soooo sick!!!! That is miserable.

I remember you whispering the exciting news to me at dinner in San Francisco.

So sorry you are having to have such a difficult time. But - the wonderful little baby is gonna be here before you know it!

  6. Girl, all I can say is "Don't eat McD's french fries if you are still sick." I could go into details about the aftermath, but you're already sick enough.

  7. Boy, you are sure down for the count! I bet it seems like forever...but it isn't and all will be well soon.

  8. Been thinking about you a lot these days Stephanie and just wanted to let you know. Sending very smooth non-jarring hugs your way :) Ginger snaps and salty pretzels were helpful for me- but I wasn't too bad off. I'm sure you have some tricks from the first time around. Hang in there!

  9. Just wanted to pop in and tell you I am still thinking about you and hope you're feeling much better REAL soon!

  10. I hope the "all day" sickness passes quickly. We miss having you here, but TOTALLY understand how pregnancy can take a huge toll on us at times.

  11. My sweet Steph!! I am praying for you as you go through this time. Let me know if I can do anything. Love you loads!

  12. Congratulations on your pregnancy! I am very happy for you and your family! I hope you start feeling better soon! I seem to get more sick with my girls(nausea, vomiting, etc). Best wishes to you as you get through the morning sickness! I look forward to reading your posts!

  13. Stephanie, I hope you are soon feeling better. I still have the Usborne flashcards ready for the give-away winner. Congratulations and if you've not tried it I've heard great things about ginger for pregnancy sickness. For me the worst was when I was tired and it DID happen any time of day. I hope you are getting your rest. :-)

  14. Awwww...I'm so sorry you're sick, but I'm excited it's for a good reason! Congrats! I get really sick when I'm pregnant...not fun at all. Lots of gingerale, chicken noodle soup, saltines, you know the drill. My OB ended up prescribing Zofran because I couldn't really keep anything down and was losing weight. It took the edge off of the nausea which was nice so I could actually function. Just thought I'd pass on the info since it helped me so much. And remember, each day is one day closer to not being sick anymore! YEA!!!

  15. Congratulationsm Stephanie (not on the morning sickness, but on the cause of it!). I'm so happy for you (not because of the morning sickness)!...Feel better!! We'll catch up when you're back on your feet!

  16. Hope you are feeling better again soon! If you are feeling up to it, come and join the fun at The Chocolistas...we are having a Name That Chocolate Dessert contest!

  17. Congratulation to you and your family! I have heard that it is better to have morning sickness and such than not have it! I have two sons and I felt horrible with both of them. With the first one, I took a cup with me to the hospital to have him. I lost weight and am thinner pregnant than not!!!!!
    Best wishes.....Cindi

  18. I wondered about how you were feeling...I am so sorry....It truly is miserable and wonderful at the same time. I hope you feel better soon...
Eat small meals every 2-3 hours. I know that is so difficult when you're nauseous but it's the fluctuations in blood sugar that make the nausea worse. Keep yourself hydrated (I know...also difficult). Try those Preggie drop (not the lollipops but the drops). I lived on those the first 4 (yes 4) months! Do you like ginger? That helped as well but not everyone likes it...If I think of anything else I'll let you know....

  19. We all have missed you. I'm sending good thought your way, and hope you are feeling back to your old self again soon. Take it easy until then. We won't forget about you! Now rest darling!

  20. Oh dear Steph. I've been thinking about you. You have been missed. I was afraid of this. So sorry you are sick. Morning sickness is The Worst. ((hug)) Feel better soon.
