Day #10 3x2 mat from WellnessMats

If you spend a lot of time baking, chopping, or prepping in the kitchen, you might want to consider investing in an anti-fatigue mat from WellnessMats. The brand's mats are "medically proven to encourage better posture, muscle conditioning, and improved overall health and well being."

Designed to provide support for your feet, knees, hips, and back,  the 3/4" thick mats are super cushy and wonderful for barefoot standing. They're also super easy to clean up in the event of any spills.

Made in the USA, the mats are backed by a 7-year warranty.

We use our mat in the kitchen (see below), but the mats are equally well-suited for craft rooms, garages, laundry rooms, and other spaces where standing is required for long periods of time.

  1. Having just moved into our new house this would be perfect! We have not had time to even look for mats let alone even think about those right now but I would definitely consider something similar to this.

  2. This would be great in my kitchen, especially when I spend hours on my feet on the hard floor during the summer putting up garden bounty!

  3. My mom has had both knees replaced but loves to spend time in the kitchen. I bet this would make it so much easier for her to stand longer.

  4. What a great idea! I have never heard of these before. For as much time as I spend in the kitchen, this would be really helpful!

  5. Heard great things about these mats, My Aunt has two in her kitchen and Loves them. Hope to get the chance to try them. Thank you!

  6. This sounds like a very good mat and even has a 7 year guarantee. This wellness mat would fit perfectly in my kitchen and also in my life.

  7. My right foot is amputated and I wear a prosthetic boot to be able to stand and walk. This mat sounds great to ease the stress on my stump when I am standing at the sink. Thanks for the opportunity

  8. I would love to give this as a gift to my mother in law! Our kitchen floor gets pretty messy, so I'm afraid it wouldn't last too long at our house!

  9. These sound like a miracle for those of us who spend a lot of time on our feet. I know my hubby would definitely appreciate it too!

  10. WOW! This looks like a great mat. I seem to always be in the kitchen prepping, and cooking and washing dishes. The mat would be perfect for my back :)

  11. I'd love to have this for the tile in our kitchen. We don't have a dishwasher, and I love to cook, which means a LOT of time standing in front of the kitchen sink.

  12. Today I was canning chicken and noticing how exhausted I was from standing. Anything to help the experience less draining would be helpful. Thanks for sharing!

  13. This would also be great for those 'lets fall on our heads' moments that my 9 month old is going through when watching mommy in the kitchen. Thanks!

  14. My hubby and I spend tons of time in the kitchen. He cooks dinner every night and a lot of breakfast and lunches too and I do the weekly bread and kombucha making on the weekend. Maybe this would help my plantar facistis.

  15. I've been eyeing these also; they seem like something everyone could use in their kitchen, either in front of the stove or the sink. I know I would enjoy having one at my sink!

  16. How fun! I always liked the squishy mats behind the fast food counters when I worked in retail (I was in charge of the "front" of a big box store and that included a coffee place and a pizza place) but I never thought of getting one for my own kitchen! That would be awesome!

  17. This would be great. I have no dishwasher, so spend a lot of time on my feet doing dishes, and definitely feel it in my feet and back when I've been standing in one place for a long time.

  18. I have one of these on my Christmas wish list. Ever since I broke my ankle last December, it is harder and harder for me to stand on the kitchen floor even to wash the dishes! I really want one of these (actually, I want two, but I would settle for one I would move from place to place!!).
