Tonight we made pizza for dinner on our Flameware Pizza Stone by Longaberger!
Tim tossed the made-from-scratch dough in the air (he's a pro!), stretched it out, and meticulously added marinara sauce, plenty of mozzarella cheese, and crumbles of bacon.
Made with non-reactive ceramics, Flameware is billed as "the healthier way to cook." It's handcrafted from 100% natural materials and is completely free from PFOAs, aluminum, lead, and other heavy metals that can leach into food.
The stone can be used in the freezer, fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, directly on a gas or electric stovetop, under the broiler, and even on the grill (as we did tonight)!
Because there are no metals in its construction, the stone will never rust.
Choose from 7 different pottery colors to complement your kitchen decor.

I love Giordano's pizza in Chicago.
My favorite pizza is at Schlotzsky's! In fact, their BBQ Chicken & Jalapeno pizza is one of my favorite things to eat period! :o)
I love Alton Brown's recipes for pizza dough and sauce, it's my favorite and I love to make it.
We make pizza from scratch all the time! My kiddos love making their own pizzas. We usually keep it pretty simple - sauce, corn, bell pepper, marinated artichoke hearts and mozzarella. I've never used a pizza stone before...I hear they work great! I can just picture your little family making pizza together!!
I don't have a link to this, but I really like a biscuit pizza crust. Just make a biscuit recipe (not a really fluffy one) and press it into your pizza pan or sheet pan, bake it until just brown and cooked through (you can wrap and freeze at this point). Then add toppings and bake until crust is golden brown and cheese is melted.
And my favorite pizza place was called Yakki Joes. They had really good pizza, and the best calzones ever. Unfortunately the place burned down when I was 12 or so, and they never did restart the business.
I love all the seasonings in this crust recipe. http://www.sixsistersstuff.com/2011/10/homemade-pan-pizza-crust-pizza-night.html I don't have a pizza stone yet, but it's on my wishlist. Pizza on a metal cookie sheet just isn't the same.

I have a pizza stone on my Christmas list! I use the America's Test Kitchen recipe and i really like it, but I think it would be better cooked on a stone. Fingers crossed!
Best pizza I had was a Mona Lisa in San Diego...yum!
We eat our pizza at home made from scratch 90% of the time, so I don't even need the recipe for the dough anymore. However, my favorite pizza out was in a little town we used to live in... it was called Big Al's. It was very yummy!
