Elegant Knitwear for Kids (don't worry - it's machine-washable)

In my humble opinion, children's clothing should be:

  • soft
  • simple
  • sweet
  • machine-washable
  • not too grown-up
  • not too branded
  • not too extravagant
  • just comfortably cute

Elegant Knitwear for Kids (don't worry - it's machine-washable) 1When I found the Picaflorkids knitwear collection, I checked off all of the items on that list and realized that they meet my criteria. The material is soft. The colors are cheerful. The styles are simple.

Check out these examples:

  1. I love picaflor's clothes for my daughter - they are so beautifully made and well-priced, which is refreshing in a world of overpriced baby clothes! we have another baby due in november and this one will be sure to have some picaflor clothes from the start :)

  2. How cute these are. I especially love the little gaucho set for my neice or Ian would look darling in the apollo boy set. They just got a ton of new clothes but I have bookmarked the site- Cute without being fussy is definitely our style.

  3. I love both the guayabera boy set and the apollo boy set. They both look like miniature 50's outfits!

  4. These outfits are adorable. They would be perfect for our new addition due in December. Thanks for the great giveaway!!

  5. Love these outfits! I have a new little one due in the fall this would be wonderful! Thank you!

  6. I'm so glad the giveaway is more "unisex". Although the girly stuff is cute, I don't think my dh would appreciate me dressing our boys in them. lol

  7. How adorable. I'd love to win one of these for my cousin that is expecting her first baby. Easy care material is wonderful with babies.

  8. That little lacy pink outfit is so cute! I'd love to win this prize as a baby gift for my sister! (And thank goodness they are machine washable)

  9. Picaflor really does have adorable outfits. By the way, great pointers on children's clothing - I agree with every one of them, especially 'not too grown-up' and 'machine-washable'!

  10. What's not to like on their adorable site?! I like it all.....One of my favorite pieces is the
"Organic Cotton Heart Dress" with chocolate trim!
Please enter me in this fun contest. Thanks,Cindi

  11. Adorable outfits, they look so cozy! The unisex romper would be perfect for my little guy who is 7 months but already wearing 12 months clothes. It seems my kids are never in the right size for their age?!?!

  12. These look cute, and Cheeks will love the outfit when she's big enough. I get nervous about knits because some of them are so rough or itchy, but I trust your clothing judgement (and your little cutie always looks so stylin'), so I'm interested. Thanks!

  13. I'ts nice to have things a little different in the girls collection of things. Most of our stuff is pink and purple, I like to throw in blues and oranges. White's are really cute. I think this romper is cute and it's easy to get them on and off! Thanks.

  14. It's unisex, so it definitely fits for a girls weekend. And it's so cute. I love how they describe the design: styled like a depression era swimsuit. Makes me think of my grandma and what she must have been wearing back in the day. I love it.

  15. It is hard to find cute styles for infant boys-but they have done it. The Guayabera Boy Set is adorable.

  16. That pink romper is precious! I am a knitter but don't think I could ever make something quite like that! Love them all!

  17. i Love the Hot Pink YaYa Puff Romper. gosh i can't imagine anyone wouldn't say this is their favorite even if you have a son it would be a cute gift for someone who had a daughter

  18. i am glad that these knit items are machine washable. i love the look and feel of knit but to handwash and then shape back and air dry is really tiresome.

the site is nice and the clothing choices are beautiful

  19. What a great site. I especially liked the emilia knit peasant set and the gaucho set. They really do have cute things. Thanks for a great chance to win something totally adorable for my new little niece Gracie and 12 mos. is just her size!

  20. Their clothes are so cute! I love the little striped rompers. It's so fun to dress my son up since he doesn't have the ability to tell me if he thinks something is dorky or not. Whatever his mom likes wins!

  21. perfect. it's summer! hot! and I love those little short romper things. calvin's wearing 9-12 mos, now, so this would be so perfect.

  22. wow how cute i love to try annd win this for my little one so she can have some thing realy nice thanks

  23. The Erica Sleeveless in Aquamarine is sweet. Love the Hot Pink YaYa Puff Romper. Your featured item is perfect.

  24. Wow. I've never heard of this company. I love the pictures and your description. Do they need ironing? Because no ironing is a plus for me when it comes to kids clothing.

  25. Nice little dress in Julia peasant dress pink!
It's cute as is the Kimono don't you think?

  26. These are really cute. I agree with what I look for in kids clothes!

I LOVE the frills on dresses, but I don't let my little girls wear the ones with trim or stiffer material, because *I* hate wearing something that scratchy, and I want to make sure that they don't sleep in it y'know? How uncomfy would it be to wake up from naptime, sweating with material like that against your skin?

I love these clothes because I don't worry about who the baby is with, I know the girls will be comfy :)

  27. Oh, I love your description of what you think children's clothing should be! Especially "not too grown up" and "just comfortably cute".

Thanks so much for stopping by my site and commenting. And for picking my article. I really appreciate it!
