Feel Mod and Marvelous...in Maternity Clothes!

I already told you about my favorite maternity jeans. Now, I'm going to tell you about my favorite maternity top: the Bridget hoodie by Childish Clothing (on sale now for $34!).

Feel Mod and Marvelous...in Maternity Clothes! 1The Bridget top is made of a comfortable cotton/lycra blend and has front snaps that create an attractive v-neck. The top is long enough to cover your burgeoning belly and the hoodie adds that extra autumn touch. The top is stylish and modern, yet also classic and simple. LOVE that.

Check out a few of their other fabulous pieces:

Feel Mod and Marvelous...in Maternity Clothes! 2GP jeans, $139 (named the best overall maternity jean by Fit Pregnancy): Isn't it great to see maternity jeans with a little extra "pop" and pizazz? I love the fringed top and the buttons down the leg! So funky and fun! My only wish is that these fantastic jeans had back pockets. It's SO hard to pull off the "nothing on the bottom" look.

Feel Mod and Marvelous...in Maternity Clothes! 3Christina dress, $53: I just about fell off my seat when I saw this feminine, Mexican-inspired, off-the-shoulder summer dress. It's so rare to find off-the-shoulder styles (maternity or not) and I think that neckline is just gorgeous. I do wish the dress had a bit more "shape" around the tummy, but...really...it is lovely.

If you are pregnant or plan to be in the next year, why not take a peek at all of the other fashion-forward pieces on the Childish Clothing site? Just click on "Maternity" and be inspired. The looks are so trendy and up-to-the-minute.

WIN IT! One winner will receive EITHER the GP jeans or the Christina dress in the size of her choice. To enter, leave a comment on this post prior to Wednesday, November 5 at midnight (don’t forget to follow the rules). * Winner must provide a U.S. mailing address.

*UPDATE* The winner is #15 Caryn B. Congratulations!

  1. I'm really in the market for a good pair of maternity jeans, so hearing thier endorsement...I'm pretty sold. I would like to call these mine. Thanks for the giveaway!

  2. I love the jeans! (though the dress is pretty too) I am 13 weeks pregnant and know that eventually I will have to give up my favorite jeans for maternity. I am definitely checking out this clothing site. Thanks.

  3. Those GP jeans look really good! You look so slender for a pregnant lady! I know you're sitting down, but still! You don't have a pregnant face. Is it the jeans?

  4. Too bad we have to choose! : ) They're both essential wardrobe staples! I hadn't heard of Childish before so for baby number 2 (which we have no idea when that will be) I'll have to check them out! : 0 My BF is due in April so I'd choose the dress for her....

  5. I love a good pair of maternity jeans. I always love dresses too but with nursing it's hard to do that and look good in a dress. I will most definitely be nursing throughout yet another pregnancy so it's all good. Thanks for the chance. =)

  6. I wish I had spent more time on choosing key/nice pieces for my maternity wardrobe... I got suckered into a sale from gap/old navy, and all the clothes are terrible (either way too large- and I ordered a size small, which I am normally, very unflattering, or cut really poorly). Such a let down. Would love the dress!

  7. The dress is so cute. I have two kids and I never found the perfect maternity jeans. It was so frustrating cause I am a jeans and tee kind of girl.

  8. My friend Elizabeth is about 4 months pregnant and she would look so cute in either one. She is tiny and all belly. Just too cute. She doesn't think so though and I am certain these would make her feel attractive again.

  9. You look super cute, and the jeans look fabulous! I ahve "nice" $200 maternity jeans but there's no way I could sit like you in them. Total pain in the butt if you ask me.

So I of course am diggin the jeans..pregnancy jeans are so important. maybe I wouldn't be in pj's all day if I had comfy jeans. lol

  10. A pregnant mama always needs a good pair of jeans...they're the hardest to find. But, that dress is beautiful. I would feel so radiant in that! By the way...I just love your blog and put your link on my blog and am spreading the word about you!

  11. Great pieces to make you feel your best right when you need it the most! I like the top you have on in the picture. Long is definitely the key when it comes to maternity tops. I don't care how tight it is as long as there is no belly skin showing.

Thanks for the chance to win!

  12. Oh, I love the dress, but with the baby due in February, I'm not sure I'd ever get to wear it! And I could really use the jeans -- they are my maternity wardrobe staple! Thanks!

  13. Thanks for these timely posts - I hope to see more. I am 19 weeks now with #5 and those regular clothes that I was stretching are now at their limits. I hate to put money into maternity items, but don't want to spend the winter in sweats either.

One maternity favorite I'd like to mention is the maternity tee from DownEast Basics - super long, formfitting, and stretchy.

  14. What great looking jeans! I'm never ultra stylish even at the best of times...but in maternity wear, I'm definitely feeling doudy!

  15. You look super cute! The clothes definitely make you comfortable enough to be yourself. I have a Childish tube dress that could probably be worn non-maternity, too, although that makes me feel like an imposter! I like Childish kids' clothes, too.
