Fitness Tip #2: Buy a Good Sports Bra

Fitness Tip #2: Buy a Good Sports Bra 1No matter what kind of exercise that you're planning to do (aside from swimming, I suppose), there are really only two things that you need: good shoes and a good sports bra. These are two areas where it is unwise to skimp on quality, even if the cost is a little bit higher than you would like.

There are actually two important reasons why you should fork out the dough for good bras and shoes.

First, both change your workout tremendously. If your bra is too loose or doesn't have enough support, you'll experience uncomfortable bounce, stretching of your breast tissue, and just plain discomfort. If your bra is too tight, then you'll end up catching your breath or you'll end up with painful red marks where the straps or cups dig in to your skin. Similarly, if you get cheap tennies, you're likely to end up with blisters, callouses, and sore muscles.

Second, the return-on-investment (ROI) is high on these items. If you workout 3-5 times a week, you'll be wearing your bra and your shoes 3-5 times a week (unless you have a "spare" pair). Thus, if you think about how many times you'll wear the item, the cost is actually pretty minimal.

You should especially be concerned about the quality of your bra if you have a larger chest (C cup or larger) because a good bra can really make or break your workout.

I am delighted to introduce you to the ENELL Sports Bra today. It is THE sports bra in the C cup or larger category. ENELL was "designed to enable larger breasted women to to exercise and play sports in comfort." You'll probably like the ENELL if your size is somewhere between a 32C and a 52DD. Oprah likes it, I like it, I'm sure you'll like it.

Whatever you do, do buy a good bra that you feel comfortable in. Ideally, you should go to a running specialty store to be fitted or call/e-mail the retailer if you're buying online to ensure proper fit. Click here to find an ENELL retailer near you.
