"Rocking around the Christmas Tree
Let the Christmas Spirit ring
Later we'll have some pumpkin pie
and we'll do some caroling!"
Okay, who eats pumpkin pie on Christmas? Isn't that a Thanksgiving thing? Just wondering...
Moving right along...here are a few resources on the web that might interest you as you finish up (or start...ahem) your holiday shopping.
1. Still searching for the perfect gift for someone on your list? Visit Mom Central's 2008 Holiday Gift Guide for selections for him, her, baby/toddler, kids, tweens, teens, even pets! PLUS, you can enter to win fabulous giveaways every day between December 3rd-December 18th. But be sure to check back every single day...you only have until midnight to enter each giveaway!
2. Here's a one-stop "shop" for you to check out! "SHOP.COM is a comparison shopping site that makes online shopping easy by offering over 2,000 stores on just one site. Search for the products you love from the best stores on the web (including JCPenney, Nordstrom, New York & Company, Zappos, and more!) and see them side by side. Decide which price, shipping method, and delivery schedule options work best for you." Check out the site and let me know what you think. Have you ever shopped at SHOP.COM?
3. And here's one of my best money-saving tips for Christmas 2008...sign up for Mom Central's Mom Testing Panel! The panel is for ANY mom - whether you're a "working-stay-at-home-mom" or at "working-outside-the-home-mom," whether you're a blogger or just a blog reader - you can sign up! Once you do, you'll be sent invitations to test/try products and websites. You'll receive some kind of "compensation" (usually in the form of $20 gift certificates to Amazon.com) for your feedback and/or for spreading the word to other moms in your network. It really is fun and you can accumulate some serious Amazon.com "cash!" Feel free to e-mail me directly if you're the skeptical type and you have questions about the program's legitimacy or how it works: [email protected]
That's all for now! Check in tomorrow for a SUPER themed weekend with plenty of excellent opportunities for you to win a little something for everyone on your list.
While I was surfing I came across a site called http://www.dealrocker.com. This website is often updated with new online coupons, promotional codes and best deals. It really helps shoppers to save money when shopping online.
Yep, Mom Central Rocks! Not only do you get to be a Mom Tester of some great products/resources, but most times you get "paid" for it! I am so happy to be apart of their team!
We don't do pumpkin on Christmas...and really I would rather have pumkin bars with cream cheese frosting.
Pumpkin pie at Christmas rocks! It tastes just as good as the Thanksgiving version. :)
Ooo...heading straight for mom central. Thanks a bunch for the tip!
I strongly feel Pumpkin Pie is completely for Christmas! I have already planned a nice gift for my two years old love my daughter Emma, these resources are very helpful though, thanks for sharing them.
I love Mom Central! Used my Amazon "cash" to buy a few Christmas presents this year!
At Christmas my Dad makes apple pie, my Mom makes cherry cheesecake and I make pecan pie... YUMMY! Unfortunately for my bathroom scales I feel compelled to eat a piece of each :)
I love mom central!
The pie my mom always made for Christmas is Lemon Meringue. Yum!
We have ALWAYS had pumpkin pie at Christmas. I love pumpkin pie so much I think we should have it year around!! But seriously, we really do have it with our Christmas meal.
Girl, pumpkin pie is totally for Christmas too. What rock have you lived under for the past twenty-some-odd years?? ;) And thanks for the resources. If you're not a blogger, do you just do word of mouth for the Mom Central thing, or do you have to start a blog? I'm still not there yet...
