Which hotels are walkable to Disneyland?

Planning a trip to Disneyland? Before you buy park passes, you'll have to decide where to stay.

To simplify the process for you, I've put together a list of Anaheim hotels that are walkable to Disneyland. You obviously can stay further away and drive in each day, but there are definite advantages to being able to walk your way to the entrance.

I didn't include EVERY hotel that is walkable to Disneyland. Instead, I selected hotels and resorts that consistently receive positive ratings and/or that our family has stayed at or would consider staying at.

On-Property

Disneyland has three branded hotels on-property: Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disneyland Hotel, and Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel. As you would expect, they offer excellent customer service, wonderful theming, and delightful detailing.

Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa

disneys-grand-californian

Wilderness-themed, Disneyland's most luxurious on-property option is the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The lobby is mesmerizing and elegant - especially during the holidays. Expect exceptional, friendly service that is consistent with the Disney brand. The rooms are pretty standard - a mini fridge, a TV, and a bathroom - with understated Disney theming.

The BEST thing about the Grand Californian is the location. With a private entrance to Disney's California Adventure Park, it is the closest hotel to the parks. Super, super convenient - and ideal if you have small children!

Disneyland Hotel

Off-Property - Less Than Half A Mile

The hotels listed below are super close to the Disneyland park entrance, 5-10 minutes depending on how fast you walk. Most of the below options offer basic motel-style accommodations.

To be perfectly honest, I probably would opt not to stay at a Best Western based on a certain unfortunate experience from several years back...but I included them here due to their prime real estate positioning in relation to the park entrances.
