I MOO. Do you?

I MOO. Do you? 1If you have a blog, there's a good chance that you spend a large amount of time thinking up ways to get your name known and your traffic up.

One way to get the word out is by having some kind of promotional item to hand out to people in your target audience. The most common promo item is a good, old-fashioned business card. But I knew I wanted something different. Something less stodgy. Something casual, laid-back, fun, "friend-y." I wanted my piece to say, "Hey, how's it going? I'd love to get to know you better. Maybe we can become friends..."

Then, I found MOO MiniCards. It turns out that this mod, forward-thinking company was thinking the same thing: "Our first product, MiniCards, came about when we realized that sometimes, we wanted to hand out details of our personal sites, and we just didn't have a nice way to do it. A business card was too cheesy, too serious, or too... businessy, and didn't represent us the way we really are. A hastily scribbled piece of paper is more personal, but who ever has paper or a pen when you want it? We needed something else. So we made MiniCards. Little cards - about half the size of a business card - with your own photos, designs and text on."

I MOO. Do you? 2These cards are *PERFECT* for bloggers. They stand out. They're fun. They're functional. People always say, "hey, that's cool" when I had them one of my new MiniCards.

If you're looking for a great way to get the word out about your blog, check out MOO. If you have a business or website, these would be perfect for that too. Or maybe you just want a mommy calling card that looks different than a standard business card. MOO has you covered.

So, tell me: What would you do with a pack of MiniCards?

  5. These cards are a great niche product! I am active in my town and the schools, but wouldn't give a "real" business card from my "real" job to those I meet (heck, the company's so cheap I don't HAVE business cards). I really like their fun appearance.

  6. One hundred moo cards? Well, I'd start by uploading some colorful and catchy graphics. Once I received my cool new cards in the mail I'd try to rustle up a tad more traffic to my new little blog. I'd give one to some of the moms at school, or my favorite checker at the grocery store. And with any luck I'd have more people stopping by to visit me. :)

  7. I love these cards! they are so cute and fun looking. Hope That makes sense. Please enter me to win these cool cards.

  12. Wow! What a great givaway! I'm in the process of starting up my own blog and this would be a really great way to get some cards name to give to my friends and family. :) Thanks for the contest!

  13. These would be perfect to hand out when meeting new mommies. No more searching for a torn piece of paper and a pen. I just love these. What a great give away!

  14. I love these! I have been cyber-stalking them but never had a clue what I would use them for until I just read your post! I would most definitely use them for my blog. I think I would take a bunch of different, random screen shots of my blog to put on the front with the info for Chic Shopper Chick on the back. What a great suggestion, thanks! Here's hoping that I win!

  15. I was just talking to a friend about needing some type of card for my Mom blog. These would be perfect.

  16. These would make some great Mommy Cards! I always hate searching for an old receipt to write on when I run into an old (or new) friend in town...It would be awesome to be able to just whip one of these awesome cards out! Thanks for the chance to win a set!

  17. It always seems that I'm digging around to find notecards for one thing or another thinking that, magically, there will always be one to be found!!

  18. I love moo and their products. Their designers have some great stuff too. For me, I dream of using the cards and stickers for my future Esty shop and crafts. Neat ways to brand the products I use and thank people for purchasing them. And I think your contest is a great idea!

  19. Since my Husband and I are trying to start up our own online business this would be perfect. We really need cards to hand out and these look great.
    Thanks for the great giveaway!

  20. I just write/blog for fun, so I'd give these to my sister who is a therapist on a college campus and does have her own cards. She'd love them!!

  21. Those are great cards!

My husband and I operate a mobile PC repair business for small to medium size businesses, so we carry lot of traditional business cards around.

Just for fun my he created some cute old fashion calling cards, since he has tends meet a lot of people and tends to keep customers a long time. Instead of handing them the usual business card he hand over one of these on occasion.

On one job we found a client had his calling card taped to her monitor. Must have found it amusing and convent, since she tends to email him a lot of "small" PC questions.

We would definitely put the mini cards to good use!

  22. This is such a cute idea, it is not as cheesy as passing out a ordinary buisness card.

  23. Wow, such a cute idea! I love the size!! This is so much more grown up than scribbling your number or email down on a piece of scrap paper!!

  24. What a great idea! I would love to pass these out to other moms I meet when I casually meet them at the park, McDonald's or wherever my kids (and I!) meet a new friend!

  25. Ive been sorely tempted by these for so long (ended up going a different route)...I just imagine Id suck (excuse mah french) at creating them.

    perhaps not?

  26. I love these!! We actually considered making Moo cards for our wedding... trying to incorporate them as the favor tag, or attached to the napkins. In the end, it was one more 'nice to have' that didn't quite make the list of crunch time to-dos! But I always thought they were such a fantastic idea. Thanks for giving us a chance to win some. Very fun.

  27. Oh, neat! What a great idea. I have to say, though, I can't imagine handing them out...but I am also VERY new to blogging, so I guess without a "real" blog it would seem weird.

But what a great opportunity! I would love to try them out :)

  28. These would be great "personal cards" for our family. Whenever people ask for my contact info., all that I have are business cards. I could put my home info. on these!

  29. Wow, what a great idea! I was actually thinking about making business cards sometime, but it just seemed too cheesy. These would be perfect to pass out! Thanks for all the great info.

  30. I made some of these when they first came out and were giving away 20 free or something. But I have run out and would love to have some more, especially now that I have two different websites to put on them. I love that you put a bunch of different pictures on them!

  31. Neato burrito! I always thought it would be a good idea to have a card. And magnets. I like refrigerator magnets as advertising. But maybe that's just me.

  32. These would be great as Mom Cards - throw your kid's name on them and pass them out to the other parents so they know who you are. A perfect giveaway!

  33. These are cute. I went to the website and I like how you can add as many different pictures as you like. Cool giveaway. Thanks.
