Say It In A BIG Way...with something very small

Think. Think. Think.

You need the *perfect* gift for a friend, co-worker, family member, spouse, or boss.

Something that will stand out. Make an impression. Show you care.

I got ya covered.

Send a letter, birthday card, anniversary card, birth announcement, wedding invitation, thank you card, or graduation card...via the World's Smallest Postal Service.

world's smallest postal service

It's a teeny tiny letter transcription service. You write a letter (up to 180 words) - then it's "magically" transcribed onto tiny stationary, placed in a tiny envelope, and mailed with a magnifying glass to the recipient.

Is that cool or what? The recipient will talk about it FOREVER.

So, whether you want to write an encouraging note to your best friend, a thank you card to your always-understanding boss, a birthday card to mom, or a golden anniversary card to your grandparents - this is sure to be a winner.

At $8/letter, the World's Smallest Postal Service isn't ridiculously priced. After all, even a "garden variety" card in the grocery store aisle can run $4 and up. And this is much more than a card. It's an experience - a bit of fun in a miniature envelope.

So, go ahead. Do something BIG...er, I mean small...to make somebody's day.

YOUR TURN: Who would you send a card to?

WIN IT! One winner will receive a World's Smallest Postal Service letter/card of his/her choice ($8.00) by Leafcutter Designs. To enter, leave any topic-related comment on this post prior to Wednesday, July 1 at midnight (Don’t forget to follow the rules…all generic comments like “Enter me!,” “Love it,” and “Cool stuff!” will be disqualified.).

*UPDATE* The winner is #17 Crystal Arcand (3Stairs). Congratulations!

  1. Wow, this is an amazing and creative gift idea! A good friend is turning the big 4-0 later this summer and I've been racking my brain to think of a special gift, and this would be a perfect way to express my sentiments in a very memorable way. Thanks for the chance to win!

  2. Oh this is adorable. I saw the company or person that makes these on tv I think about a year ago maybe. What a fun little way to give a gift or send a letter.

  3. I would send this to my niece Sarah (who lost her mother to cancer) who's moving into a new apartment and getting ready to study music at the university in the fall!

  4. this is a really great idea i would have a tough time choosing who to send it too. I am amazed at how they do things like this. Thanks for the chance

  5. These are so cute. Neat idea. I think I'd send a tiny love note to my hubby. Thans for the contest!

  6. Oooh, I saw this once before and looved it :) I would send a letter to my Grandma, because her house is where all my best crafty little ideas were born and it would be fun for her to get a little treasure like this from me now that I'm a grown-up.

  7. What a fun idea!! I certainly love receiving a card or letter in the mail, the old-fashioned way, and as much as I love to send them to bless others, it just doesn't happen often enough. Somehow email has taken over that, but it just isn't as personal. What a great idea!

  8. My dad!
He has been going through such a rough time, this would totally brighten his day.
    Such a great idea.

  9. I would send it to my friend Michelle. These cards make me think of tea-time with friends and garden parties...both of which make me think of her.

  10. I would write a note to my daughter wishing her luck in Kindergarten. She would think it was hilarious.

  11. I would send a love letter to my boyfriend, who is helping deal with some issues from my past.

  12. I had a few issues to deal with recently, and a rough day or two. I have a friend who prayed for me, encouraged me, and helped me out during that, and I would love to thank her with this special little card.

  13. How cute! I'd love to send one of these to my fiance. I never write letters, we call each other instead. He'll never expect it.

  14. The hardest part for me is figuring out who I'd send it to! On the one hand, I just want to send one to anybody because it's such a neat idea, and on the other hand, I'd want to send it to somebody I haven't seen in a while... but who? Decisions, decisions!
Part of me wonders: How good would these work as wedding invitations? Because they'd definitely generate some buzz!

  15. I'd love to win this to send to my little sister at college. She's going through that whole "I'm in college and am super cool" phase and I think this might catch her eye more than a regular email or letter. I LOVE mini things! I'll have to check this out! Thanks for the chance!

  16. Oh the places you'll go,
    tiny letter, I know...
    And although very small,
    Your job will be tall,
    To deliver a kind hello
    To a son who's away,
    And give him encouragement,
    From a mom who's shorter, you'd say....
    But is so blessed
With a son who's the best.

  17. This is the cutest thing ever! I would love to win one and send it to my husband. We still leave little notes for each other here and there, and this would be a fun one to give!

  20. How neat! I hardly ever send letters anymore ... and i'm not sure why because I love to receive them myself. This is cute and would be a nice way for me to send someone an "i'm thinking of you" letter.

  21. These are so cute. I love to get one of these for my son (obviously for when he gets older) I think he will get a kick out of later in life, I little tiny letter from mommy when he was still relatively little and tiny :)

  23. My sister-in-law's birthday is coming up. I can see my message now - "As we get older, the print just seems to keep getting smaller, don't you think?" Ha!

  24. Ahhh! I love World's Smallest Postal Service! Totally forgot it exists-- thank you for the reminder!

I want to send it off to my niece, who lives in Argentina. Her parents (Luke's brother and his wife) are missionaries in Buenos Aires. She will be turning five in September and LOVES little bitty things.

  25. my nephew's birthday is next month... he would definitely get a kick out of a tiny birthday message : )

  26. I would send a little note to a friend who is undergoing IVF right now after having a stillbirth last year. She could use some kind words in a tiny package.

  27. What a fun idea! I'd send a little note to my far away "baby" sister, who's the creative sort that would get a real kick out of this!

  29. Oh my gosh! That is the cutest thing I have seen in a long time!

I would have to send it to my best friend, Sarah. She would get a kick out of it! And with her moving to a new city and starting graduate school, it would be a nice gift :)

  30. This is the cutest thing I've seen in a long time. My daughter turns 18 in October and I would LOVE to have a letter like this for her. I'm smitten with this product. Valentine's day!.... My parents for the holidays... My nieces... first thing... My best friends son who turns 1 the day after my 36th birthday.

    He's the first one!

  31. My cousin-in-law just had brain surgery and I'd send a little note of encouragement to her. Things are looking okay for her, but I'm sure this would make her smile!

  32. I'd write a letter to my sister, who is going to college this fall. She's sixteen and entering Simon's Rock College, which accepts exceptional students before they graduate high school.

  33. I think I'd write a note to my son. His birthday is coming up, and he's at the age where he gets so thrilled when he can read things on his own. He'd also adore the novelty of the tiny little letter! :D
