I know that co-sleeping isn't for everyone. Some people prefer to sleep in solitude and silence without the squeaks and squirms of a warm baby beside them.
But I'm exactly the opposite.
I sleep so much better with my baby by my side, feeling the gentle up-and-down rhythm of her breaths, knowing that I can protect her from anything and everything. I love looking at her in the dim lighting, watching her sleepy smiles and expressions as she dreams about something that is apparently rather wonderfully funny. I like to watch her little eyebrows dance up and down, to notice when she starts rooting - before she cries. In blissful slumber, I pull her to my breast and we both settle into sleep. It seems so natural, so gentle, so perfectly right.
It may sound crazy, but I feel fully rested in the morning yet I also feel like I was awake - watching over her - the whole night. I feel as if we were breathing in unison. In my sleep, I comfort her and feed her and put my hand lightly on her chest to feel the rise-and-fall of her breaths. I was asleep, yet I was awake - protecting her.
For our family and for this baby, cosleeping works best. I can't imagine it any other way.
I am not so naive, however, to say that everyone should sleep with their babies. There are, in fact, some situations where parents should not sleep with their babies. But - for many families - cosleeping is the optimal sleeping arrangement.

What a great idea! I know my sister would love this!
What an interesting concept and a great product.
What a great contest ~ thanks for posting! I would love to win this for my friend!
I would love to win this for my sister! My son slept with me as a baby, and it would have been great to have this.
I know that co-sleeping is highly debatable, but I have found that the baby usually sleeps much better. This product would help with some of the fears. Thanks!

I would Love to win this for my nephew
I have considered co sleeping it would make me feel a lot safer to have this. Thanks :)
This would make the perfect shower gift .
that is so great a safe way for baby to snuggle with mom and dad :)
OMG! What a neat invention!
I wish I had a baby! But my BFF is having one in June!! YAY!!
Im trying to win as much things as I can for her!!
I love the idea of baby sleeping between us!
thie would provide a reat little nesting space for the baby
BOth of my kids sleep with me. It is a closeness that I really love. This would have been great to have when my kids were little. My friend is having her little boy any day and this would make a great gift for her.
thanks
This would make having baby sleep with mom so much safer! My daughter would love this for her baby.
This would be great for my niece, she just had a baby and is finding it hard to get her in her crib but she is scared to co sleep! Thanks for the chance!
This is totally the neatest thing I have seen and I love having my baby beside me some. Baby boy due first of June. Thanks
This is a great product. I personally was always afraid to have the baby in bed with me. My sister has always done it, but I guess I am just a nervous person. This would definitely make me feel better about it.
This is a great idea! I'd love to be able to have my daughter in my bed without being scared that she'll fall off or get smushed.
This looks like a goodway to keep them safe and possible prevent SIDS
I love how great the design is! I would have never thought to put a nightlight on it.
This looks like an excellent system to keep baby both safe AND comfy.
I like the night light feature, would come in handy, wow!. Thank you

What a great idea! This is a must-have item when I visit friends' and family's places with my baby!
This is such a great prize!! I had a sleep positioner for my first baby and it worked pretty well, but this one looks so much better. I would love to have it for our second baby! Thank you so much!

Would love for my daughter she just had a baby.....
I would love to co sleep when I have a child in the next few years
We love to co-sleep but my husband and I always sleep poorly because we're worried, so this would help!
I think this Snuggle nest would be great!
This looks like an excellent product and I think co-sleeping is the best way to go.
I have a three week old son right now and i know how much more comfortable I would feel if I had one of these for him. I always love having my children close by especially when they are this little. Thanks for a great giveaway ;)
I want to try a co-sleeper, but my husband is afraid that one of us will toss a blanket over our new born. We borrowed an old fashioned cradle, but I'd rather have the co-sleeper, especially when my husband is away or has to put in really late hours at work. HE can move our daughter to the cradle before he crawls into bed.
I co-sleep with my baby. I have a co-sleeper & a crib which he hates. He likes to be either on top one me (thanks little oven!) or next to me. This is great cause I'm paranoid my husband would one day roll over him.
I would love to cosleep with our new baby due in July, but I am always afraid of rolling over the baby. This is a great product!
This would be great to win.
I know many moms who have slept with their babies in the bed with them, without the protection of this. My father is a paramedic, however, and he has seen many cases in which this was harmful to the baby and resulted in death. Im so happy that this product is out there and I hope more people use it.
What a wonderful invention. Our son slept with us when he was little because he was so sick as a baby and it was for my piece of mind.
I would love the chance to win, thanks.
I would love to have this for my little one due next month. Thanks!
My best friend is going to be a first time mom in august and is a bit nervous about the whole thing. This would be wonderful for her.
ferriza2(at)yahoo(dot)com
I would have loved to have this when my little one is littler. It would make a great gift, though for our new parent friends. My little one always managed to wiggle into a diagonal position with her feet in my back, so I could have used this.

I am the new, nervous parent you mention, and this would give me confidence to have my babies (twins) in my bed. I love this post. It sounds so loving and nurturing. What a darling mom you are!
When we brought Bryson home, he slept with us. My DH was so scared he was going to roll over on him! He always slept right beside me, because DH didn't want to take that chance.
this is an awesome idea when my other grand babies would come over when they were infants the only place they had to sleep is with us since we didnt have room for a crib in our small home. But this would be great for our new grand baby that should be here in September.
Thanks for giving us a chance to win one.
this looks awesome, wish I would have had something like this when I had babies. Would love to win this for my daughter who is expecting.
i love it! we are expecting a baby soon and this will be great in the begining before going to a crib
OMG...how CUTE!!!! I would love to WIN this! Thanks for the great giveaway =)

OH how I wish I had this when my babies were babies! I used to rollup towels or blankets for wedges. Yes, my babies slept with us for a time, it helps sometimes. I wish to win this for a daughter in law who is PG.
wow this generated a lot of interest. yay for co-sleeping.
My neice is having a baby in May, and I'd like to get this for her. I love your write-up on sleeping with your baby; that's exactly how I felt with all of my children (we have four). Right now, however, the baby is 19-months old in our house, and we just got him a toddler bed. We're trying to transition him from our room to his. Truth be known, I think my husband and I are both going to miss him in there. :)
I have a small bed that is right next to mine for my baby, mainly because I'm afraid my dh will roll over on the baby. the Snuggle Nest would solve that problem.
I think this is a great idea; I used to use receiving blankets rolled up next to my first born. I love the Pink Delight pattern; so girly.
Don't these snuggle nests kind of miss the point of co-sleeping? It is just a big bulky thing on your bed. It is like a bassinet in your bed. Pointless to me, I mean might as well put them in a bassinet on the side of your bed or in a crib next to your bed. I mean, isn't the point to have more contact and for you to feel that your baby is closer and safer? I know some people are worried about rolling on the baby but I am much more aware when my baby was sleeping with me, my husband would start to rollover a couple times and almost squished the baby but I was out of a dead sleep and pushing him across the bed before he even woke up to ask what was going on. I mean, I love being snuggled with my little one sleeping in my arms all night long, it helps me sleep better and it seems to help them sleep better as well. A bigger plus if you are breastfeeding is all you have to do is roll over, give her a boob and fall back asleep. I could see if they sold like a huge tone down version of that to fit the mom and baby with adjustable bump guards to block daddy from making any mistakes or to block the edge of the bed. Nothing too obtrusive though because then it wouldn't be comfortable anymore. I guess it is up to each individual and how they feel about it. Some people I know could never Co-sleep because they thrash all over at night so it all comes down to what you feel comfortable with and what you feel is safest for your baby.
Who wouldn't want to snuggle up next to that little body all night?
Dash is almost 4 months and still in bed with us. This is the longest I've happily co-slept.

well this is just the best to keep the baby safe and sound.
We had a cosleeper next to our bed with our first. Although it was great, I think this product would fit our needs much better. Thanks for the chance! m_huston(at)hotmail(dot)com
This would be great for my grandaughter who is a co-sleeper with Mommy & Daddy most of the time. Please count me in. Thanks!!
I wasn't planning to co-sleep when we have our baby this summer because there just isn't space in our room to add a co-sleeper to the side of the bed and I don't want to have the baby between us with all our pillows and such. This looks like a great alternative so that we could have him co-sleep with us particularly when he's very little and feeding often. I also noticed in many of the reviews people said it was great for babies who have colic or reflux in helping them sleep.
I loved co-sleeping with my son. :) I loved being right there if he needed me for anything.
I have a similar co-sleeper. This one looks so much better and would be more comfortable to have in the bed.
the twins thank you
Hi! I just found this site from a message board rec. I also LOVE co-sleeping. When our daughter was first born, we didn't know if it was safe, so we ended up taking turns co-sleeping on the FLOOR with her, haha. After a few weeks, we read up on co-sleeping, and we now all sleep great (well, most nights). :)
What a great way to make a 'crib' on the parents' bed!
Oh-- and I totally agree with you. I actually can't sleep without Alice next to me. There have been a few nights that I have put her to bed in her own room and tried to leave her in there instead of getting her out and bringing her to our bed at my bedtime. I thought I could catch up on some sleep this way, but instead I ended up spending the entire night getting up and checking on her before finally getting her at like 4am because I can't take it anymore!
Both of my kids have slept with us. Alice is 8 months old and has never spent a night in her room. In fact, some nights, all four of us are in the big bed.
What an awesome idea! I love, love, love co-sleeping, yet admit that I am a bit nervous about it. Nothing makes me feel safer than having my baby in bed with me, but it also does make me nervous (silly pillow top mattress!). Your blog is adorable, I am an avid fan, thank you for being such a great writer!
how cute!
All these neat items make me want to stock away for those grandkids!
This would be great to have. My baby is still so tiny, I don't want to use the crib yet.
Co-sleeping is wonderful. We did it with our 1st and we will with our next one too!! Thanks for the chance.

WE coslept witih our son, but it was not for her daughter who is happy in her crib. Im interested in a travel friendly product as we are adopting our third and this would come in handy when we bring him/her home=)
I’m trying to conceive and have been thinking a lot about what life will be like with a new baby. I am sure that I will want my baby with me at night, but I also have a few concerns about co-sleeping. The Supreme Snuggle Nest addresses those concerns and I like how the baby can be placed in the center of the bed between mom and dad. I’ve seen other co-sleepers where the baby sleeps on the side of the bed. This product also seems travel friendly which is awesome
Nice product. Would like to try it.
I love that this lets air flow through as well!
wow, great contest
I will be breastfeeding so I know the baby will eventually end up in the bed some nights, this would be a great alternative.
With our baby due in August, the DH and I are considering co-sleeping since I will be breastfeeding. the Supreme Snuggle Nest looks so much better that the other products I've seen offered. I especially like the sound effects to get baby to sleep.
We cosleep and wouldn't have it any other way. I can't imagine how many sleepless nights we would be having by putting him in a crib. I too wake up fully rested although I'm always in a light sleep.
We tried a sleeper similar to this and Jayden wasn't having it, lol.
Don't enter me!
I wholeheartedly agree.
With Princess, when she was a baby, I was never sleep deprived. Well, except for one night... the night that I tried sleeping with her in the bassinet. I didn't sleep that night, so we went back to co-sleeping and it worked wonderfully for us.
Don't bother entering me though, I do better with my baby up against me! :) Give it to someone who could use it!
What a cool product - maybe this could make my hubby more okay with co-sleeping. With my first son, I was a single mom so I got to make all the choices and I co-slept. I loved the feeling of him sleeping next to me (I still do!) and I just felt that he was safer by me when we were all alone in the house. He will be 4 this summer and I still wake up everyday with him because he sneaks into bed with us sometime in the middle of the night =)

I co-slept with both of my babies, and the snuggle nest was right there with me! it made me sleep so much better! i love the updated version, with the incline and the prevention of rolling. im pregnant with my third and would love to use this fabulous product!
The Snuggle Nest sounds like the perfect solution to a great night's sleep. What better way to keep baby close & for a convienent middle of the night feeding. What a great way to "snuggle". Thank you for putting this in a giveaway. Cindy, cin1bar2(at)hotmail(dot)com
would love to win this for my niece- looks amazing
What a great idea. I wish I had one of these when ours were babies. I'd give this to my friends daughter who is due in May.
I would love this for my nephew. His Mommy wants to co-sleep, but she's a first time Mom and is concerned about rolling. thanks for the giveaway
I've been co-sleeping with my daughter since she was born (she's 5 months now) and I love it!
co sleeping is the new way [email protected]
I would love that. I use a sleep positioner for my girl right now and think its a great way to co sleep. This next looks like the next step up.
My baby is due next month. I know this will really help with our plan to co-sleep!
I love co-sleeping and cannot imagine it any other way. I would like to win this for my sister who would like to co-sleep but has a waterbed and is a bit scared. This could work! Thank you.
mommainflipflops AT gmail.com
I would be interested in trying out co-sleeping. The more I learn about it, the more it sounds like a mutually beneficial arrangement.
My two oldest couldn't sleep with us. They just didn't sleep when we were next to them. Now they'd love to sleep with us but we can't sleep with them ;) Our littlest one loves sleeping with us and sleeps so well when she is next to me. I'm starting to get to the point where her wiggling next to me is starting to bother me though so we'll see how long this lasts! I've seen this co-sleeper before and I've wondered about it but never really researched it. Maybe if I have another one...
I love what you wrote about co-sleeping. I've seen this in stores, and am definitely interested in using it, but it's a bit too pricey for me to pick up right now. We're planning on using the arm's reach co-sleeper (we were able to borrow one), so we'll see how that goes :) Thanks so much for ALL the giveaways this week!
stephanie your giving away too much stuff this week, lol! I would have to give this to a good friend who is birthing my sons soon to be best friend, my son already has something similar!
Hey this is sweet. i know my sis-in-law used it with her daughter and she slept wonderfully in it. My hubby is a firm beliver of keeping baby next to us while she/he sleeps. I know i could use this. Not a mom yet, but close to being one :)
i would love to win this. thanks for the opportunity and the nice detailed review.
My daughter is expecting her first child in May and I did co sleeping with her. This looks like a great gift.
I did co sleeping with my younger one and was always worried. If I had this at that time, would have been much more stress relief. Anyhoo, if not me than my best friend. I know she would love to have this gift.thanks
Couldn't have described it better! I know exactly what you mean about feeling rested, but knowing you are consciously aware of every movement, every sound baby makes.
When we decided to co-sleep, I vowed to have her in her own bed by 6 months so as not to form "bad habits". Here we are at 7 months and I don't want to move her. I enjoy it as much, if not more, than she does. When we lay down to sleep each night and she rolls to her side, nuzzles her nose into my neck, and grasps my thumb with both of her tiny hands it is the best part of my day -- why would I want to end that for either of us?
I'd love to win this for my pregnant daughter, thanks for the chance.
I love this post! I can totally relate to your feelings and encourage everyone to experience co-sleeping. Of course I experienced this many years ago, as my daughter is now expecting a baby of her own! I would love to give her a snuggle nest to use in order to ease her in to the idea. Thanks for offering!
We are expecting a boy in 7 months, this sounds like an awesome item to have and try.
I love co-sleeping, too! I sleep with Cole every night! I would love to own this, though...it would make it more safe.
Thanks for the giveaway and chance to win!
I was always curious about these. I feel like it's one of those things that you can't know if you will like it until you try it. Would love to try one!
Sorry...I should add that we used something like this but I can't remember what it was called...I liked it when he was a tiny baby....
I co slept with my son for almost a year and a half and I agree with you...it was just so natural and felt so right...I couldn't imagine nursing any other way....
we tried a really inexpensive version of something like this and weren't impressed, but I could tell that if I had spent the money on the "good" product that I would have been happy with it. This looks like what we should have done rather than the $15 sleeping wedge thing we did do!
Since both of my babies were/are bottle-fed I decided not to co-sleep. I haven't ever regretted that decision, but this looks like a great option too. My sister is due in August and I know she'd be interested in this product.
This sounds like a nice idea and a good alternative/compromise between cosleeping and giving my baby her own space. I'm due in June and have been looking for more information about this. Thanks for all your information!
Oops... Didn't mean to submit yet. We sleep him on his tummy (have since about 6 weeks), and while he is right next to us in his pack-n-play, I do bring him into bed with us usually around 5 am. This "snuggle nest" is interesting. I'd like to try it sometime.
Can this be used for tummy sleepers?
