After the event, she wrote, "While I love cupcakes, I am really not a cake fan, and my very favorite dessert of all is actually lemon bars."

  1. These Lemon Bars sound delicious. I have tried Lemon Bars in the past but they were too dry. I would love to find some moist delicious lemon bars.

  4. Lemon bars bring back wonderful memories of baking with my grandmother.....the Schmerty's website had lots of other lscious looking treats.........Caramel Brownies and Cran Tart.......yum!

  10. As a born and irredeemable chocolaholoic, I have a confession to make: my most favorite baked good is the Classic Lemon Bar.

    A good Lemon Bar is totally addictive and I am absolutely convinced it very healthy with both known and secret cleansing and revitalizing qualities.

  13. My Nana used to make delicious lemon bars with fresh lemons from the yard. I have 9 grandchildren of my own now, I make lemon bars but they just dont have the same taste to me LOL grandkids like them though

  15. I love lemon bars. They are great for breakfast as they really wake you up. They are also perfect snacks to have when I am reading my favorite book.

  16. Bar desserts are always interesting. love the taste, but just based on tongue feel as they are eaten, know that they are loaded with calories, but what the heck.

  25. My Grandmother, who passed away 11 years ago, used to make Lemon bars all the time, and they were insanely good. It would be interesting to see if their recipe tastes similar to my Grandmother's.

  26. I went to the bakery last Friday to get Key Lime Tarts but they were all out so I bought lemon bars instead. They were all eaten up by my Easter guests.

  29. Lemon Bars were Mom's favorite. I made them for the family dinner the day we lost her (4-28-08) so Lemon Bars have become a new spring tradition for our family. I'd love to have someone else bake a batch this year!

  36. Lemon bars are one of my favorite desserts. I have difficulty keeping the gooey center and the crisp top layer. Mine are almost always uniformly gooey or overly dried. I would love to have these - I'll bet they are perfect.

  38. I checked out their shop and it is delightful! They make a large variety of special goodies and I like that they are kosher and preservative free.

  39. Oh my......lemon is one of my favorite flavors of all time. I'd love the lemon bars.....I had to give up sugar for 6 months and as of a few weeks ago I can have dessert again....this would be SWEET to win!
