  5. Messy spaghetti = lots of cleaning too. Ug.

Something Colorful: Luv That Tray 7

When we first received the trays about 8 months ago, I thought they looked a bit cheesy and chintzy, but I have since been completely won over by their usefulness. The truth is that we have pulled out these trays almost every single day since then! We use them for painting, baking, chopping, etc. They are exactly the right size to be useful for a million different purposes - and the raised edges are brilliant for containing messes.

At only $12.99/set of 4, the trays are affordably-priced - especially if you use them all of the time like we do.

  1. How cool! I just loves how it can be formed into a funnel to make clean-up so much easier. This would be wonderful for my messy daughter!

  2. These would be neat for those times when the kids don't want to eat at the table, or the times they want to eat at the table when you've just put a nice cloth out for an occassion.

  3. What a great way to keep my children's eating areas clean. I love the different colors for each child which would help prevent squabbles.

  4. I like the shape of these trays, and the colors and that they arent too big but just abour the right size. Would probably sue them for floor excursions and tv watching

  5. I wish they'd had these when my girls were little! I babysit now and would use these often.

  6. These are a great ide to contain the mess and have easy clean up, especially with Italian or Chinese food.

  7. I do like how easy that looks to clean off, we've been having lots of messes and spills around here lately and I've been looking for something like that.

  8. These look they would be perfect for my little budding artist & painting her nails! Plus my son is officially a toddler & these would definitely come in handy.

  9. I can see the different things we can use this for. With homeschooling, this would come in handy for arts and crafts. This is also good for snacking in the living room.

  10. I have a big package of fast food wrappers that I put on the table for when my grandchildren do art projects. I like these trays much better!

  11. You forgot another great point about spaghetti:

    6. It's easy and fast!

My son still sits in his booster seat with the tray attachment mostly because he doesn't complain about it and it makes things easier for me. But he's getting to the age where he's going to start to fight me on it and I'll have to agree seeing as he is 3yo.

This tray is genius for big kids. Even outside of eating what a great idea of playdough, paints and playing pretend with trucks and cars!

  12. These seem like the perfect tray! I have three messy eaters on my hands. And spaghetti night is not one of my favorites. The mess is horrible! Have you ever tried sweeping up wet spaghetti from the floor? Yikes! I suggest if you haven't you don't try it. I'd love to add these to our list of daily use items. Thanks so much for letting us know about them.

  13. I often grab a cookie sheet to help out when doing crafts or other "messy" activities. These seems to be a bit more kid-friendly and we would love to add them to our collection! Thanks!

  14. The fact that they are dishwasher-safe seems like a big plus; otherwise it would just be another thing to wash after every meal.

  15. This looks like a great product, my 21 month old is the messiest eater ever, we have to hose her and the table down after every meal.

  16. My mom would absolutely love these. She has tons of ugly trays that she likes to use to eat her meals. These would be so much better.

  17. I know what you mean about getting a product that you think is rubbish and then it ends up being invaluable. I love when that happens. It is the opposite scenario that drives me nuts!

  18. Count me as another person who is interested in knowing if these have any way of sticking to the table... We're working on not throwing things on the floor (especially plates!) at the moment.

We don't do spaghetti often but it's much less messy with cheese instead of tomato sauce ;)

  19. we actually use press and seal saran wrap to protect the table from messy uses. Next time I'll buy a glass table, a lot easier to clean but for now these sound fantastic, especially with the lip.

  20. Those pictures look like our mealtimes... every night. It would be every meal, but I am more careful for breakfast and lunch because I don't really want to give my kid three full baths each day! :) I still haven't figured out a good way to keep him (and me... and the kitchen) clean. Maybe this will be the trick for the floor and table, tho I think he might need to be a little older. My guess is that right now everything, tray included, would become something fun the hurl. Alas. It's just that stage! :)

  21. It seems like these could come in very handy! I wonder what the difference is between these and the cutting boards on their website? Maybe they are just different colors?

  22. I think I would, like you, find myself pulling these out almost every day and I think four is a perfect number ;)

  23. How awesome are these. My daughter would be all over these when eating Mac & Cheese. That's her new favorite and that = Messy Photos!! Thanks for this giveaway. I think I will get some for a friends daughters birthday coming up. Can never be too careful when eating MESSY FOODS!

  24. I love it. One of the reasons I never served my kids spaghetti when they were little, was the after math. :) I just couldn't deal with noodles and sauce on walls and floors.
The fact that it is "multi-functional"...awesome! I like getting a good use out of my purchases. :)

  25. I love spaghetti pictures! My Italian grandma has pictures of all the grandkids with spaghetti all over their faces, she can't wait to get one of my son.

  26. These look great! I think my one year old would throw it, like some other posts mentioned (when DO they start being able to handle a plate? I can't remember!) but it would be perfect for my 3 year old for eating messy foods as well as playing with her art projects and toys with small pieces (that I want to keep away from the 1 year old).
Shoot maybe I could even get my husband to eat off one! He has his own messy moments!

  27. Love these!! My kids are 4 and 6 now so aren't really messy while eating but for arts and crafts these would be perfect!! I will also share them with my sister who has a 9 month old and 3 yr old (in addition to her 5 and 7 yr olds). I can already imagine the possibilities......painting, playing with shaving cream, painting with pudding......what fun these could bring!! :)

  28. I think even my 4 year old would benefit from these. I can't stand mess! Also, they would be great to have on hand for when company with children comes over.

  29. They look so colorful! I would definitely use them for arts and crafts projects and for taking our snacks/picnics outside.

  30. They could also be used for learning centers in a classroom or home classroom.

I would use them with my four year old when doing art projects (no more glitter mess)and play dough. My older girls could use them when painting their nails and beading.

    Keeping my fingers crossed!

  31. We just had spaghetti tonight and it is messy! We do use a tray for our little one but he can't move it very easily. However, these sound perfect for on the go or when we have a project away from his chair.

  32. I think these would be really useful when doing art projects! However, I am with Lydia, I would be worried about my girls picking them up and spilling everything on the floor.

  33. Seems like a good idea, but what happens when my baby decides to pick it up and dump the contents on the floor? He does this with plates all the time. I do enjoy the colors.

  34. This is such a fantastic idea! I picked up a couple of inexpensive placemats for my daughter, thinking they might contain the mess and make clean-up simpler. Unfortunately they've had just the opposite effect. The placemats slip on the table so easily that they end up causing more spills. I would definitely be interested in these if they stay in place well.
