The Learning Tower by little Partners, Inc.

The Learning Tower by little Partners, Inc. 1I love letting my daughter "help" me make dinner, bake cookies, blend up smoothies, and wash the dishes. Up until recently, the hardest part about letting her help was that there was nowhere for her to stand. I ended up either holding her on my hip (which didn't work very well) or letting her sit or stand on the counter top (always with supervision, mind you). Some of my friends choose to pull up a chair from their dining room table for their little one to stand on, but that can be slightly dangerous too because toddlers aren't always the most graceful people.

This dilemma is one that Carol Gamble faced with her daughter and so she created a solution - The Learning Tower by little Partners, Inc.

Designed for children 18 months+, The Learning Tower is a step stool with a 15" x 18" adjustable height deck. Surrounding the deck are four sturdy sides which provide support while climbing on, or standing in the Tower.

Check out these incredible features:

  • Provides a secure environment for a child's imagination to be stimulated and blossom
  • Nurtures a child's innate desire to be dependent and inquisitive
  • Welcomes the child as a helping participant alongside parents and siblings
  • Sturdy platform adjusts from 11" to 19" in height
  • 4 sturdy side supports
  • Fits flush against average counter tops

My daughter stands in her Learning Tower every single day now without exception. It truly is a practical and functional and fabulous invention. The only downside is that it is rather large so it can't easily be "put away" or stored, but the various wood finishes are very classy and don't detract from the traditional "look" of modern kitchens. We keep ours out all of the time because we use it so often.

  1. This is such a great idea, so much safer than a chair that we use now. Would love the chance to win one, thank you so much.

  2. I'd sure love to win this for my little grand daughter. It seems every time she visits now, she wants to help her Nana bake a cake. But sometimes she has trouble seeing what's on top of the counter. This would really help.

  3. What a neat invention! My daughter is nearing the age where I would like to start engaging her in the kitchen. I would love to own one of these!

  4. I can already hear my husband if he came home to find a Learning Tower in our kitchen: "What in the world have you gotten for the baby now? We're going to need to take out stock in a storage facility!" But he would quickly see that the Learning Tower is such a simple concept with so many great applications. Cooking is my favorite hobby, and I look forward to sharing this passion with my son and his future siblings as they grow up. As your typical over-protective first time mom, I love the fact that there is an alternative to plopping my little guy up on the counter or boosting him with a wobbly chair when we're spending our "kitchen bonding time" together. I can also see the Learning Tower getting lots of use at the dining table as well, from mealtime to game night to art projects. How important for a kid to feel like he's on the same level as everyone else, truly involved and part of the action! It may seem to some like a space-taker and a frivolity, but like your daughter, I can see us using the Learning Tower every single day. What a clever invention with countless uses...why didn't I think of it? :) Thanks for the opportunity to win this fantastic tool for family togetherness.

  5. Hey, this is a great idea! I currently let my daughter sit on the counter to "help". She's only 15 months, but she loves to see what I'm doing, but I'm so frightened that she'll reach for something an fall off that it makes the whole event less fun. This is a great invention and a wonderful giveaway item!
    Amanda

  6. What a great product! I let my daughter sit on the counter when I am cooking so that she can be involved but it makes me so nervous that she will fall off. The learning tower would be great for us!

  7. What an amazing giveaway! How wonderful would it be to have my daughter safely by my side while we cook and create! And so many other creative uses for the tower... we'd be thrilled to win!

  8. What a great idea. My daughter actually fell off my kitchen chair yesterday while trying to help at the counter. This would be great to win!

  9. The Learning Tower is a fantastic idea!!!! I can only imagine how happy my daughter would be if she could play with water in the sink (without me holding her on my hip!). And how much happier mama will be as well. :) :)

  10. This would be so great for my daughter. She is nearly 16 months and loves to see what is going on when I am doing things in the kitchen. She tries to climb onto a stool which isn't very safe, so I think this tower would be perfect!

  11. This is sorely needed here and would be used constantly! I can't put anything on the stove or in the oven without my granddaughter "helping" me!

  12. My son has gross motor delays and isn't always that stable sitting on our kitchen stools. This is great! He can lean on it without me stressing out and we can still have fun cooking together.

  13. this is a fantastic idea and would get a lot of use in our home. Thanks for the great contest

    fidgetblogs at gmail dot com

  14. My granddaughters love to cook at my house and we use step stools and have to have another adult just to help ensure safety. This would be fantastic!

  15. This would be SO useful for us! My daughter loves "helping" and I usually have to use a dining room chair so she can reach. This would be a lot less stressful for me!
    dasybliss at yahoo dot com

  16. Oh! I have been wishing for a Learning Tower for soo long now!!
I try to set things up in a way that my son can participate- But a Learning Tower would make things so much easier!! I'd love to get him more involved...
    inalak at msn dot com

  17. I never knew these existed until I found this contest on my list. With three grandchildren in 2008 it is definately something that will come in handy when they are here.

  18. I so want one of these! I can't tell you how many times my daughter has fallen off a chair while 'helping' me in the kitchen! And I love that it can double as a puppet theatre!

  19. I have 2 little ones, Emily is going to be 4 and loves to help me cook. Anali is my 16 month old dare devil, she will stand on anything she can get her chunky little butt on. And when she gets up she has to hold her hands in the air like a gymnist that has just completed the most difficult program. This would be great for either girl.

  20. What a great concept to allow children to work with Mom and Dad in the kitchen in a safe and convienent manner. I love this product !

  21. My two and a half year old has a ball "washing dishes" at the kitchen sink. It is a great way to keep her occupied and having fun while I am cooking for the family. The Learning Tower would be a fabulous and much safer replacement for the old step stool the I always lug in from the garage!Plus, it will be perfect for when my son is big enough to join his sister at the counter/sink! [email protected]

  22. I really, REALLY want this learning tower! I love that it is so handy for different things...helping in the kitchen, a puppet play house, a lemonade stand...

OH PLEASE PICK me! I have wanted this for a year now!

Thanks for the chance to win, and thanks to learning tower for sponsoring this!

  23. NO WAY!.....What a fantastic giveaway! As an extremely overprotective grandmother, I get nervous when my little granddaughter drags out her little stepstool to help Mommy bake or to work at a high table in the kitchen. This would be wonderful for her to have (and to be safe in), and to ease my mind too!!

  24. With 2 daughter-in-laws that have recently given me grandchildren I would love to have this chair so they will safer at Mamaws!

  25. I have never heard of this. What a great product! This would be perfect for my grandson when he helps me wash dishes.

  26. I love this concept! I would love for my daughter to be more hands on in helping me cook, but she can't reach the counter. This would be fabulous! And I think about all the fun her and her brother would have using it for playtime, too!

  27. I've wanted to get one of these ever since I read about them on Z recommends. My son is 19 months now and curious as can be about what is going on at the kitchen counter top. I would love to let him see - and gradually let him participate. I would absolutely love to win one because I know I don't have the budget to buy one myself.

  28. I've wanted one of these for my kids for quite a while but haven't been able to get past the price tag. It'd be great to win one.

  29. This would be perfect for my 18-month old, he's just starting to get interested in helping in the kitchen and around the house. And it's so much safer than standing in a chair like I did as a kid!

  30. A learning tower would be great. I have been trying to figure out how to safely have my son help me in the kitchen. We have three dogs a chair just doesn't seem safe.
    Thanks for the contest.
mary (dot) avinger (at) gmail (dot) com

  31. It's such fun to cook with kids and the Learning Tower is a wonderful idea. Much safer than perching a little one on a chair or counter.

  32. My 2 1/2 year old son loves to help me cook. As soon as we get home he starts muttering "cook". When I start dinner he is a minute behind me , dragging the dining room chair with him. Right now we talk a lot about sitting on his knees unless I'm right next to him and we are actively pouring, mixing or measuring. We'd love this to keep him safe when we cook or color.

  33. I would love to win this! I am always so hesitant to let my daughter cook with me since she stands on the kitchen chairs

  34. i would love to win this with my disability it is harder and harder to help my little one onto a chair and that scares me sooo much this woudl be such a help

  35. I can't wait to start cooking with my son and this will enable him to help me even younger!

    jenniferhuff[at]gmail[dot]com

  36. Great giveaway! I just read about these recently and think it's brilliant...great for developing independent skills and including little ones in the kitchen.

  37. I love this. I've seen it here and there and think it's one nifty invention. I'd love for my little kids to be able to cook besides me.

    Tally

  38. I saw these in my last Williams Sonoma catalog and thought they were the coolest. I wish they were a little more affordable, but free is always affordable! ;)

  39. LOL - My comment is the same as everyone elses. My daughter and/or nephews want to be right there with me when I'm cooking, but I'm constantly panicking that they're going to fall off the chair I pull up for them. A learning tower would be so great!!

    [email protected]

  40. Little Mister Inquisitive would love love love a Learning Tower, as would his harried parents. I am really eager to keep him interested in kitchen stuff (working in the kitchen especially!) so he grows up familiar with and comfortable with preparing meals and cleaning up afterwards. I'd love the opportunity to win one of these brilliant contraptions. Thank you for offering this giveaway.

Ruth (tbain2007 at yahoo dot com)

  41. I saw these Towers a few months ago and I fell in love instantly. I cook all the time and I would love to have my son by my side helping me. Winning this would be so incredible. THANK YOU for the great giveaway!

    [email protected]

  42. I wish I had one of these towers when my children were young. They loved to wash dishes and help at the counter. Maybe I can win one to use with my grandchildren.

  43. Please enter me into this contest! My DIL has 4 children under the age of 7 and she would die if I could win this for her. The baby of the bunch is such a little climber and always wants to help mom in the kitchen so my DIL almost always has her on her hip while she is trying to cook or clean. I have never seen one of these so I am off to investigate into it further.

Thanks so much for the contest!

  44. I first saw this a few months ago and thought it was ingenious! I would love to have one for my favorite little helpers!

  45. Oh I could so use this! I've been begging my Hubz for 2 years now but he won't budge. This would totally come in handy to help from incidents like just last week when I found my Sophia hanging from the kitchen counter since the chair flipped out from under her.

  46. My son has just recently started to show interest in what Mommy is doing in the kitchen. He loves to watch me us the mixer! But, I have to put the bowl on the floor/bring it down to his level so that he can see. He has just started walking and is not tall enough, nor stable enough, to use a step-stool or chair. This sounds like the perfect product for us right now!
    jenni_aja at hotmail dot com

  47. I would love to win this - my son enjoys helping me in the kitchen but the step stool we have isn't quite tall enough for him to be able to see into bowls just yet. And then of course, there's the safety concern. Thanks for the contest!

  48. This is such a fabulous idea for a product! My daughter is forever standing on chairs to help me with tasks. Owning a product like this would be remarkable and very helpful in our day to day lives.

  49. This is a great product! My daughter is always so interested in what I'm doing, but she's not big enough yet to actually see... this would be so perfect for us! THANK YOU :)

  50. I have been looking at these towers for a long time, counter sitting is often done around here! Would be nice to win one of these.

  51. Wow, my daughter would love one of these. She loves to stand and see what I am doing when I am making dinner. (I give her stuff in a bowl to play with) Right now she is too short so I put her on a chair but she hates it. I know she would love this.

  52. My son always tries to stand on the trash can to help me cook. This would be so much safer! What a great idea for kids.

  53. i love the learning tower. i'm constantly trying to figure out a way for my 2 year old twins to watch me in the kitchen. and it would be a great place for them to stand to wash their hands!

  54. Michelle:
I have a toddler who loves to claim anything and everything. The sight of a step stool sends me screaming after her. This product seems like such a wonderful alternative. I feel so bad constantly telling her "no, it's not safe". This would make me feel better and would be so wonderful for her.
    watson(at)zerostreet(dot)net

  55. I've never seen this product before, but really think it is neat. My two youngest ( 3& 4) LOVE to help me in the kitchen, but I always scared of them being on the kitchen chairs. It amazes me, after being a mom for almost 14 years, of all the new products that are still being developed and marketed for our kids.

  56. wow, this looks like a great thing to have! my little ones are always wanting to watch me fix dinner and help if possible. what a great idea!

  57. What a great idea, these are absolutely perfect for the kitchen and our little ones. Thanks so much for the great contest.

  58. I just stumbled upon your blog. This product looks very interesting. I have twins who are always climbing. This might just be wide enough to hold two 2-year olds. And, I like the fact that the height is adjustable so they aren't up too high. Wouldn't want the tower to tumble. I would love to be able to experiment with it.
    kathyh_fl (at) bellsouth(dot) net

  59. I think this could change our evenings...maybe bringing my family (hubby + 2 year old) into the kitchen with me while I cook. I bet he would love the security of it as well.

  60. AMAzing idea! I love this. My little one and my up and coming little one, will be so helpful in this, they can feel like they are creating masterpieces, with carrots :)

Lots of people, but amazing idea! I love it!

  61. what an amazingly cool thing for toddlers. my son loves to see what i am doing up on the counter, this would give him a fun and SAFE way to do so. Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

  62. Right now my son is using a restaurant-style high chair as a "learning tower". Probably not the safest in the world but he's at my level and he enjoys helping so much.

The only question is--where to store it!

  63. As a single mom, I have no one to watch my daughter when I'm in the kitchen. Rather than parking her in front of the tv, this would allow her to be right there with me - safely! Grenda
    baileygp at aol dot com

  64. I have two girls who would love this. What a great solution to the desire of these little ones to get up there in the action. And, as an aside those pictures of your daughter are too cute.

  65. I love that this tower gives my lo support on all four sides...I just know that this will be both practical and just plain old fun (ie a fort)

  66. I'm familiar with this product and was just thinking about it recently. My son's not quite old enough yet, but he's getting there rapidly! It's a great invention. I remember trying to help my mom make cookies when I was little and finding it difficult to get in a good position due to my height.

  67. I've wanted one of these for a while. My kids are short (big shock, so am I) and this would be far safer for them to use rather than the flimsy plastic stool that we have now.

  68. I think the Learning tower looks really stable, and would be helpful for a young, unsteady toddler who wants to be a part of it all.

    rudylover_1999 AT yahoo DOT com

  69. My two year old girl would love this. She's a climber and doer after seeing three older brothers do things. In just a matter of a few seconds, she climbed on a stool at the stove to get her own second helping of soup! (which I quickly put an end to) She would be much safer and happier that she could see what is going on if we had one of these. What a great idea.

  70. IT'S A FORT, IT'S A TENT, IT'S A TREE HOUSE. and you can stand on it to help mommy at the counter. How cool is that?

  71. i wasn't even aware of this product before. What a great idea. I sure could use this in our home

  72. I saw this reviewed on a blog months and months ago and put it on my "wanted" list because it does really look like something we would use a lot. I have 3 young daughters, and we've already had our share of falls from kitchen chairs as they've stood on them to help me bake, etc.
    sanna1999 {at} verizon {dot} net

  73. I like because it is big enough to have two kids stand together safely at the same time. Keeping my fingers crossed.

  74. Our son LOVES to climb and always wants to see what's going on. We've been eyeing this, but it's not really in the budget right now...

  75. My sister's 2 1/2 year old pulls out drawers in the kitchen and climbs up them to sit on the counter. It gives me shivers every time I see her do it. I would love to have this so that I don't end up having a nervous breakdown watching my son do similar feats of climbing!
    [email protected]

  76. Oh my goodness - 209 comments!!! Now you have 210! What a great idea. My daughter has a bench that she moves around in the kitchen so she can see what we are doing. I think we have only had a couple of close calls. This is an excellent idea. I love the fact that is has a back bar so she cannot lean back too far.

  77. I have three kids and the kitchen chairs are constantly being scooted across the floor for them to be able to reach the counter. This would be a perfect funtional item for my kitchen that everyone would love.

  78. I would love to be able to donate one of these to my son's daycare! They would get very good use out of it, I know!!

  79. I just thought about this very thing today as my children were pillaging their lunches on the counter as fast as I could make them, but just a little too short so as to be pelting their heads with blueberries, which were consequently squished all over the kitchen floor, resulting in the appearance that we had been stomping exotic blue-blooded bugs.

    [email protected]

  80. this is perfect timing-my 18 mo old is super helpful and gets her feeling hurt if i don't let her, but she always falls off the chair and does not think sitting on the counter is a convienent way to help-this is a great giveaway!
    [email protected]

  81. My twins are always wanting to help me cook and we they are always on a kitchen chair and have the occasional fall...This thing would be GREAT!!!!

  82. My daughter asks to be held every time I'm in the kitchen so she can see what I'm working on. This tower would be so wonderful to have! Thanks for the opportunity!

    bcsbethany at yahoodot com

  83. What a wonderful invention! My son has recently started helping in the kitchen - and this would be a great "help" for Mom to not have to worry about falling off chairs, etc.

  84. I really want one of these. I just love how versatile they are. My daughter can use it to help cook in the kitchen which she LOVES to do (and I can breath since she won't be on a chair anymore), then she can use it to put on puppet/doll shows. Once she is done with that I think it would be fun to take her to the park with her friends and they can play "Lemonade" stand with it. This is such a neat invention!

  85. I would love to win this for my cousin. She has a 1 1/2 year old and a new born. So this would get put to alot of use. I remember trying to keep my daughter safe when I would put her on the counter to help me. I would love to give my cousin some peace of mind!
    Thanks for the FABULOUS giveaway!!!
    Artful Blessings,
    Kathryn

  86. This tower is such a good idea! I didn't know about it before, but we would love one. My daughters love to "help" washing dishes. It can keep then entertained for an hour! I am always worried they may fall from their stools. Thanks for the opportunity.

  87. It would be great to have one less thing to worry about in the kitchen, seeing as how I already worry about leaving knives or hot things too close to small hands, whether I've forgotten any ingredients in a recipe, or whether everything is being poured on the floor or over the mixing bowl....

  88. This is such a great product! I love to cook with my daughter! This would give us time to learn and it would be safe, too!
sarahmarie dot pemberton at gmail dot com

  89. I have a 2 1/2 yr old that loves to help me with everything, but can be a little clumsy in the kitchen no matter how close I watch her(falling off the counter once and her little step stool countless times), so it would be great to get a Learning Tower. I really like the product a lot, just can't afford one! So thanks for the giveaway chance!

    stevencary (at) gmail (dot) com

  90. Is that a current pic of your daughter on the post? She's so cute! I love this product, have never even heard of it. Great giveaway Steph! Hope I win this time! =)

  91. We're always looking for ways to involve our kiddies more and this sounds like just the thing! Lately, I've resorted to mixing and peeling on the covered floor so they can at least see what I'm doing. This would be so lovely! :)

  92. I've seen this and always thought it would be neat. We certainly needed one today when my son was helping his aunt make the Easter cake.

    leanna at benandleanna dot com

  93. This is the first time I have ever heard about the learning tower. My little one would love it! Its perfect to have him help!
    brookieking at yahoo dot com

  94. We love love love love love our learning tower... my son is at grandma and grandpas house several times a week and it would be great to give them our old one if we won a new one!

  95. How great is this! It would allow my little guy to help when we are baking w/o the fear I have with him on a dinning chair

  96. Huge giveaway! I am dying for one of these - as is everyone else. My guy is a climber, and this would be great!

  97. The last time we were at a friends' house who had one of these, my 2-year old climbed right up to get in on the action. We would love one since she is very into "helping" while we cook (a trait we would like to encourage!).

  98. Ooh, many of our friends have these, and Baby K is almost old enough for it. Thanks for the chance! We'd LOVE one.

  99. What a brilliant idea (aren't the best ones always the simplest?). My daughter is just starting to reveal herself as a mad climber. We turn around and she's gotten herself on top of something higher and higher everyday. I would love something like this to help her participate safely in the activities the grownups are doing without risking her neck when she scrambles up on stuff all by herself. Thanks!

  100. My son loves to help me cook & wash dishes, but its not always safe to let him stand in a chair or sit on the counter! I've been dying for one of these...it would save me a few meltdowns (his & mine) in the kitchen!

  101. I would love to win this. I have three little ones and this would be much safer than the chairs I let them stand on when they help me in the kitchen.

  102. What a wonderful item! Rather than having the child sit on the counter, stand on a chair, or be restricted by a highchair - this item makes sense! What a great way to help a child get involved in some hands-on activities for learning. Thank you for the opportunity to win this learning tool!

  103. How clever! Something like this would make me much more comfortable letting my kids stand at the counter to help me! I wouldn't have to worry about them slipping off of a chair.

  104. Another of those products I wish I'd thought of! My son stands on a chair way too often - he's a great helper in the kitchen (and I love the math, science, and language he's learning so naturally by doing so!) Besides that, I find he eats much better (and healthier) when he has a hand in what he prepares.

This would be a great addition to our busy kitchen! Thanks!

    beezerly at yahoo dot com

  105. My son is still a little bit young to use this product, but I can already tell he would LOVE it when he's old enough. He is always trying to see what's going on out of his sight.

    angelaforsyth (at) gmail (dot) com

  106. I've been eyeing these since I read about them on Zrecs. I have fantasies of my little bug helping me to cook. This is the sort of thing I could never spend the money on on my own, but I would adore winning one.

  107. This is a great product. I have a four year old and twin 7 month olds. I have my hands full and often a very achey back. I think that this product would really help since my son would be one less thing I'd have to lift around the house.

I think that the "converter" sets are wonderful too. How much fun would it be to have a drive-thru. (He loves playing drive-thru donut shop)

  108. I've seen this in a store near my house and have thought about buying it when my little peanut gets a bit older. Maybe I won't have to make that decision now...

    denise(dot)fahl(at)gmail(dot)com

  109. I have seen these discussed befoe and always wondered if they are worth the money. I would LOVE to own one - they are such a great idea - but so pricey as compared to the kitchen stool that we use for the same purpose. I wonder if other mom/owners out there have found them worth the expense?

  110. My 3 year old loves to help me in the kitchen - and now her l4 mo old sister wants to help too. I love the idea that both kiddos can fit on to one tower and be safe. What a cool product!

  111. My mom said when I was little that I loved to "help" with the dishes and she'd pull up a chair next to the sink and let me play. This would be a much safer to allow my little one to help me!

  112. I have been wanting to get a learning tower for my 3 and 2 year olds for some time, and even suggested our local science museum get some for their kids labs when I was in a focus group for them last year. What a great product!

    unckristenmarie AT yahoo /dot/ com

  113. I haven't seen these before, what a great product! I have a big kitchen with lots of counters, and I too, am not comfortable with the chair standing method. thanks for hosting the giveaway!

    nifferjeno at gmail dot com

  114. My son is *obsessed* with cooking & needs to be held while there is anything happening in the kitchen. This would be a godsend. Ever try to separate and make bacon with one hand?

Thanks for the chance to win!
    lnjane at yahoo dot com

  115. Both my kids love to play at the kitchen sink. I have a step stool but it is not very stable and I am always afraid they will fall off. This is awesome!

  116. What a great product! My son is too young for it right now but I plan on having him help in the kitchen as much as he wants so this would be perfect. I perused the website and saw it being used as a desk too. That would be a nice place of his very own to color, draw, etc.

  117. Oh my, I have coveted one of these forever! My son is 2 and wants to help with everything, luckily he is tall for his age, but he still has to tiptoe on the stool I bought for him because I can't find a safe stool I like that is taller and we have our 6 month old who will be there soon and I know two kids can get on this. Oh, I hope I win this one!

  118. I was SUCH a clutzy child... always falling off chairs, counters, etc. So I'm paranoid about my child (and my niece) doing the same! This sounds like the perfect solution, and as you said, doesn't detract from the environment with its appearance.

  119. Count me in, thanks! This would be perfect for my 2 year old son - he already likes to help in the kitchen, just like his 7 year old sister.

    jtdarby_at_gmail_dot_com

  120. WOW! I've never seen anything like it! That would be perfect for my girls who always want to help out in the kitchen! SO much safer than the chair or step-stool that I usually have to use and I can concentrate more on teaching them how to do things instead of spending most of the time just helping them keep their balance!

  121. I just posted a picture of my daughter standing on a chair at the table on my blog. She loves to help and see what's going on! This would be perfect for her.

  122. I've been drooling over The Learning Tower for some time now. So smart. So cool. So safe. Wow. We'd love one! My daughter enjoys being a helper in the kitchen, and this would make the experience so much safer for her.

  123. Wow! What an amazing prize...I would love this for my girls, maybe it would eliminate fights over the stool as I prepare dinner! This would be great! Thanks!!
    stbaisch[at]yahoo[dot]com

  124. This is such a great idea. Right now we have chairs where the arms can kind of box them in when they stand at the counter, but it is now where safe. We just moved into our new house that has cement floors in the kitchen and I am forever afraid of them falling.

  125. I've been lusting after one of these for several years. My son (who is 5) LOVES to help me cook but he's very nervous about climbing on chairs or sitting on counters. My daughter (who is 16 months) LOVES to climb on chairs and sit on counters! I'd love a safe spot for both of them. Thanks for the contest!

  126. Love the versatility of this tower. My Gracie loves to help me cook & safely is always a concern. Thanks for hosting this awesome giveaway!

  127. I actually have one of these and it is wonderful! My son is on it many times a day. He is 20 months old and has been using it since he was 17 months old. He loves to help cook, play with playdough, color, read, and hang out at the counter while we prepare dinner.

If I win, I'd like to keep this at Grandma's house until my son's cousins are bigger and can have it at their house. Thanks!

  128. Wow...that is brilliant! My 15 month old is already starting to be interested in what's going on above her head, and she's totally figured out climbing. What a great way to teach her safety without compromising her curiosity! Thanks for this great giveaway!

  129. I am like most of the other posters, always hated the wobblyness of a chair. My daughter who is 6 now, is a lil short for her age, and still has to use a stepping stool to help me in the kitchen. We used to use a chair, but they always seemed to get pushed away from the counter and she would fall.

I have a 6 month old son and this would be great for him, when he is ready to help mommy in the kitchen :)

    a_carroll2001 at yahoo dot com

  130. What a great product! My boys love to help in the kitchen, but having them stand on chairs just doesn't seem too safe - I'm always afraid they'll fall. I'd love to have one of these!

  131. I would love to win this one for my daughter for when she's a little older. What a great idea!!!
ann dot guns at mac dot com

  132. What a great product idea! I would love to have this for my 2 kids so they are safer when they are helping me.

  133. What a great invention! I am always so worried when my grand daughters want to help me in the kitchen. This safety ladder/stool would solve a lot of problems for me. I hope to win it because I sure can't afford to buy it.

  134. This sounds great. I know there are so many activities that I will want to include Brea in when she gets a little bigger, but I also know there are many dangers that lurk around our homes. This sounds like a great product. Thanks.

  135. My big Miss A (as I just realized I now have 2 Miss A's) is just starting to be interested in the cooking process. That and she always wants to be with Mami. I too have done the counter and also the chair but this does look so much safer.

  136. Stepping up to make my comment to win (heehee). Just made some frosted sugar cookies last night with my son helping, The Learning Tower would have been great (and safer) than the chair we used.

  137. The Learning Tower is such a neat idea! Both of my boys love to watch what I'm doing in the kitchen (they are still a little too young to help out) But I never feel safe having my oldest stand on a chair - I'm always afraid he will walk off it accidentally. This would be a great thing to have in our household!

  138. This would be perfect for my 2-year-old - she wants to do everything that her big sisters do! :)

    debmomof3(at)comcast(dot)net

  139. My son loves to "help" washing dishes. I always pull a kitchen chair up to the sink. This is a great idea, I wouldn't have to worry about him falling off!! Thanks!!!

  140. This would be so much safer than my babies standing on chairs! They love to help me cook-it's one of their favorite things to do! cookiecutter72 AT hotmail DOT com

  141. This is a fantastic product! I would love this for my daughter so she can help me with kitchen and other things. She would love this. Thank you!

  142. Wow,this grandma would love to have that!

I'm not leaving my email because I have been getting too many messages obviously from people who are harvesting e's. :(

  143. this is a great giveaway because kids are always using chairs and other things that are'nt safe but this is safe.

  144. This would be so great for my son, he always wants to know what Mommy and Daddy are doing. When I'm cooking I have to have my husband stand in the kitchen with him so he can watch me. this would provide such a safe enviroment for him.

  145. Oh! I've wanted one of these since my daughter wasn't even standing yet. lol. Now that she's three, I think it would be awesome for her to be able to stand up by the counter with me and help me bake! I am an avid baker, so it would be just awesome for me to share it with her, and with my son when he's old enough to not just throw everything on the floor(which, by the way things are looking, will be when he's about twenty or so. lol).

  146. I started letting my grandson help me make bisquits after his 1st birthday. It was something that I thought he would always remember! My worry was always protecting him, so it was & still is a chore. He is always so proud of the results. I wish I would have known about this a year ago, I could have worried less and enjoyed it more. Now, I have a little granddaughter, so this would be so much safer! It would also still work with my grandson! Thanks for showing this!

  147. This is such a great idea. I wish it had been around when my kids were small but I know my sister could really use it now.

  148. Hi, Your daughter makes a wonderful model for this Learning Tower. She is adorable. Like you didn't know that already! This is a truly novel idea. I keep asking myself why I don't think of some of these ideas. Please enter me in your drawing. Thanks very much.....Cindi
    jchoppes[at]hotmail[dot]com

  149. What a great idea! I was raised in the generation of "chair standers" and can remember helping Mom bake cookies while standing in a kitchen chair. This is so much safer. I'm very impressed.

    guysrose (at) aol (dot) com

  150. These are great! I au paired for a family that had one of these for each of their children and it allowed them to really participate in the kitchen activities with out that fear that they would fall over. The kids also had fun using their Towers to build forts and let their imaginations run free... It's a great product if you can spring the extra cash.
    Thanks for a wonderful giveaway!

  151. The Learning Tower sounds just wonderful, it would be great for when the grandkids are here and want to help me cook, thanks for the giveaway!

  152. I have wanted a Learning Tower for awhile. My niece is really starting to get into cooking. We made Mac & Cheese today and she had to stand on a kitchen chair. Not very safe. I try to keep one hand on her the whole time.

I can also see some other great uses for the Learning Tower.

tent making, puppet stage, working on cars with daddy, and a few others.

  153. We have five grandchildren who love to help bake and cook at our house. This is awesome. Thanks for the great giveaway.

    gypsy58 [at] hotmail [dot] com

  154. I love that it comes in different colors now. So very cool. We could definitely use one.

Your daughter is beautiful, by the way! I always think she's a baby from the pic on the sidebar.

  155. this would be so nice - the kids love helping me in the kitchen, I also use chairs

    tiramisu392 (at) yahoo.com

  156. This is such a great idea! I would love to use this as my kiddos get older and are able to participate more!

  157. now this is realy some thing i could realy use i think this is too cool and i love to win this jenny9675309 (at) yahoo (dot) com

  158. I have 8 grandkids...this would be PERFECT! I love the safety of it and being able to adjust the height will make it useful for years and years. Thank you for for such a great giveaway!

    [email protected]

  159. I must say, I'm also a chair person and yes, we've had a few almost-falling-off-moments. So scary. Any ways, this tower seems like an awesome way to involve my daughter in cooking (instead of me sitting on the floor with her, which is what we typically do now). Thanks for the great giveaway!

  160. Wow! So much safer than a chair or a regular stool! And looks well made and would last throgh getting wet and weathered to be passed down!

  161. I have actually had my eye on one of these for a couple of months! My little man is just getting old enough to be my "big helper" so I really need something safer than just standing on a stepstool! Thanks for the awesome chance to win one!
    sblilly14(@)yahoo(.)com

  162. How great is this! My daughter loves water and I let her play in the sink, but I have to hold her while she does it. This would be great for her to be able to reach the sink herself! Thanks! katebeth45(at)gmail

  163. I LOVE this idea! I'm constantly pulling chairs in and out of the kitchen for my 2 year old to "help" me cook.

  164. This would be perfect for my two year old to use. I have been teaching her to cook and we normally use a dining room chair to help her reach the kitchen counter. Her favorite part of cooking is cracking the eggs. Go figure. It makes me nervous the entire time because there are no sides to the chair and I worry that she will fall off. This step tower would eliminate my worries and make it more fun for both of us to cook.

  165. Wow, what a great product!! So much safer than standing on a chair and definately easier then holding them up to the counter. This would be a great addition to my daycare!!

  166. My little guy is now at the stage where whatever I'm doing in the kitchen, he wants to see and help. So the Learning Tower would help keep him in one place, and eliminate the creative climbing skills he's acquired since he's developed this newfound I-want-to-help with/see- what's-going-on-in-the-kitchen phase.
    wakeyes AT yahoo DOT com

  167. My little grandaughter would love this. She is so curious and wants to see what is going on when I am cooking. This looks so safe.

  168. Oh wow! I'm so used to the sound of my preschooler scraping a kitchen chair across the floor to stand at the tower. This is a much better idea!

  169. My grandchildren are always under my feet whatever I am doing. This marvelous little stool will allow them to "help" me without being in my way or possibly falling off another type of stool.

  170. What a neat step-stool. Ive always wanted to get something like the Learning Tower so the kids could help out in the kitchen.

  171. Wow that is a very cool invention. Will it contain and a very active little boy? haha! I worry about the kitchen because there are so many potentially dangerous things that something like this is a great solution. Thanks for the intro to the product!

  172. I have been wanting one of these for awhile. My girls love cooking in the kitchen but I always worry they might fall, plus it would be cool for building forts

  173. My hubby is a product designer, and a rather 'cautious' parent, so I think he'd be just as happy (if not more so!) than me our our little guy to have one of these. ooo, maybe it will mean we get to remodel our kitchen so we'll have somewhere to store it ;) Thanks! ...and I'm excited read more about the desgner/inventor!

    [email protected]

  174. I've never seen this, ya it's a bum that it so big. My lillie always wants to sit on the counter to see what i'm doing. I need this!. Would love to win.

  175. What a smart invention! I have a 5 year old and a 3 year old who constantly want to help in the kitchen, plus a new baby. We would get a ton of use out of this.

  176. This is always in SkyMall and I always want to buy it. My little one won't be able to use it for a while (due in June), but I would love to have it, or give it to one of my nieces who are both 2 years old. Thanks.

    lucycontest at gmail.com

  177. This is definitely among the most wonderful toddler/young child inventions I've ever seen! Like you, I have young ones who love to help with the cooking. It doesn't stop there! With three children in the house now it would be especially wonderful to have. This would allow my older children to have the access they might need to taller things or to help me while still allowing me to keep my hands on our newborn. I can see our children being very creative with this too -- using it for everything from playing teacher to doing puppet shows. I am a big fan of anything that helps promote independance -- and the fact that this does that while providing for safety is outstanding. What a tremendous blessing this would be to our family! Thank you for the opportunity, and for helping me discover such a wonderful product!

  178. What a wonderful invention! So simple, yet genious. Would love my son to "help" me make dinner with this. I really enjoyed your "Toddler weekend" :)

  179. That is a brilliant idea! I was just trying to block my daughter's ability to fall off the counter about an hour ago.

  180. How cool is that tower! I have two little chef's in the family and they would love this. We have stools that we use but they are still too short to really get at the counter to "cook"! Thank you for the contest.

  181. oh, please pick me! My son always wants to watch and right now I let him teeter on the bar stools. Many times I have had to drop everything to catch him from falling off. This would get tons of use in our house! Thank you!

    Lisa

  182. We're dining room chair folks, and it IS iffy, but we have no other way to do it right now. I certainly don't have the cash to fork out for the tower, although I realize that my child's safety is of the utmost importance. This would be a great way to keep her involved in a safe manner! Thanks! (Oh random generator people, please pick this number...please with a cherry on top?)

  183. I just had this exact same dilema the other day. I was letting my son help me make French Toast (posting on my blog coming soon) and was having trouble either holding him or keeping one hand on him while he sat on the counter top. I didn't even know this stool was on the market. Thanks for the chance to win one!

  184. Oh my gosh, this is the coolest contest ever! I am so hoping my comment is randomly drawn. My 17 month old hangs from my legs while I'm trying to cook every night. Oh man, it's nuts. I've been drooling over Learning Towers for a while, but there is just no way I can justify the cost. I'd love to win!

  185. I LOVE this idea! I'm constantly pulling chairs in and out of the kitchen for my 2 year old to "help" me cook. Then, everytime I have to go to the fridge or sink I have to take her down, and then put her back up. This would be great! Props to the inventor of this great idea =)

Pleae enter me in the contest!!

    amyr888(at)msn(dot)com

  186. I have two little ones that love to help me bake and cook, but I deal with the same problem - where do I put them so they are safe? Usually we resort to sitting on the counter or pulling up a chair, but then I spend all my time worrying about them falling and it takes the fun out of the activity. The Learning Tower looks awesome!

  187. What better way to engage my daughter in what I'm doing in the kitchen than to let her stand at the counter next to me. She would LOVE helping me do dishes! And the grin on your daughter's face totally sells the product!

  188. I always let my girls stand on chairs at the counter and I'm a nervous wreck the whole time because it's not so safe.

I've wanted a Learning Tower for eons but haven't been able to justify the cost. I'd love to win one!
