  1. Okay so I just caught up on some crazy contest entering- shew! You have the best giveaways! But I really wanted you to know that my favorite part of your blog is your insightful and moving personal posts. I read every word- just often in "catch up" binges. It was lovely to see which posts were your faves and to re-read some of mine :) "Birth story" was strikingly similar to my experience last month- except for the venue.
"Datenight" reminds me that we are not alone in preferring our family time although we know that our marriage should be the foundation. "Distracted" remains one of my all- time favorites. You put the challenges and miracles of this phase of our lives into words beautifully. I hope my friends (you included:) understand...

  2. Oh, those were all great! Some of my favorites as well. My husband is also in full-time ministry so I especially liked "I'm Not Your Typical Pastor's Wife." You are in good company :)

  3. It has been a fabulous year on your blog, Stephanie! Looking forward to all you have in store for this new year!

  4. Thanks for the re-cap. I found some great blog entries that I have missed. My hubby and I hardley ever get away for a date - mostly because 1 - no money for a baby sitter and 2 - We both work full time and I feel guilty leaving them with a babysitter when I have not seen them all week. But the few times we do get away it is nice to have an adult conservation without a 4 1/2 year old and a 2 year old butting in! MAMA! MAMA! DADA! DADA! Mama what is -----!

  5. Ooh, thanks for reminding me about the POW idea! I wanted to pick that up with the girls and forgot to. I need to write it down. Thanks!

  6. And that picture is just to die for! You both are super adorable. Looking forward to reading through your favorites.

    Nell
