With four children in our house (ages 23 months to almost 12), we've been through lots of clothing and shoes over the past 12 years.
Our three oldest children are girls so we learned quickly that it was worthwhile to spend a bit more for quality clothing pieces since they are routinely handed down.
Our youngest is a boy, but we still we seek out longer lasting, more durable clothing pieces whenever we can.
The below brands are some of our favorites for toddlers (ages 1 and 2). We also regularly visit our local baby consignment shop and we are big fans of hand-me-downs from family & friends.
JoJo Maman Bebe is a UK company that broke into the U.S. market several years ago. They offer clothing, shoes, toys, and accessories for babies up to age 6 - plus maternity clothing! We've had success with their tees, pants, shorts, swimsuits, and rainboots, Their style is on the "preppy" side (which is my style too).
The only brick-and-mortar JoJo Maman Bebe stores in the USA can be found in Connecticut and New Jersey, but you can buy online with free shipping over $100 and free returns.
KicKee Pants is a relatively new brand to us, but it's become one of our very favorites! If you like buttery soft and super silky materials, this is your brand.
Because the materials are so luxuriously stretchy, they can be worn for months and your baby won't instantly outgrow them. Take the kelly green polo romper in the above photo, for example. Our little guy started wearing it when he was around 10 months and he is STILL wearing it at almost two.
KicKee Pants also offers a full line of men's and women's clothing. Same soft, drapey fabrics!
My first blog post about See Kai Run was back in 2008. Ten years ago! Founded by a Seattle mom, See Kai Run offers comfortable, podiatric-approved shoes for babies up through size 3Y. You can find sandals, boots, slippers, and sneakers - all in classic styles; all stretchable and made with quality.
Tea Collection is another brand I've been writing about for a LONG time (since 2007)! I love Tea's soft and comfortable line of play clothes. New designs come out every season...each inspired by a new region of the world!
