FOR HER: 4 last-minute stocking stuffer ideas

December 12, 2008 By Stephanie

It’s getting close to Christmas and her stocking is still only half-full. Why not add in these goodies that she’s sure to smile about?

squirt s4 leathermanSquirt S4 Keychain Multi-Tool (~$25-40) by Leatherman

This little tool looks tiny, but don’t let its size fool you. Open it up and you’ll find a sharp blade, three different screwdrivers, scissors, a nail/file cleaner, a bottle opener, a ruler, and tweezers.  I carry mine in my bag everywhere I go and it has “saved the day” on so many occasions. Who says Leatherman is only for men? Certainly not me!

Fill up that stocking with something she’ll use every day – hair ties, clips, and barrettes. Elastics get stretched out, mini barrettes get lost, and the same-old clips lose their appeal after every-day use! She’ll love a new pack or two. Or, why not consider an Ouchless Purse Brush – small enough for her to stick in her bag for last-minute hair emergencies? Best of all, Goody products are affordable and easy-to-find. Look for them at Wal-Mart, Target, or your nearest grocery store in the hair care aisle.

If she’s a scrapbooker, a crafter, or a card maker, she’ll appreciate this handy little acid-free glue stick that dries fast and stays put. Think of this as a glue stick with a little extra pow!

pilot g-2 bluePilot G-2 Pens (~$2/pen or $5-8 per 4-pack)

Pilot G-2s are luxurious pens. The ink is smooth and shiny, the grips are comfortable, and the click-open is super easy. But don’t let the description make you think they’re out of your price range. These pens can be found at Wal-Mart, Target, and your nearest grocery store for “pennies.” Perfect for the writer or list-maker on your list!

I have such a pen fetish it isn’t even funny. Goody is a life saver when it comes to my long curly hair.

I use the Goody hair elastics when I go to the gym…and I plan on doing a lot of that in the New Year, so this would be a great stocking stuffer for me :)

The Squirt keychain would be a perfect fit in any purse, hair tools for my girls (they always seem to lose all of theirs), and best of all is the scrapbooking pen for our scrapping parties to share with all of my friends. All items to make life a little easier! WOW!!

    Happy Holidays!!!:)

All of these would be great, but the hair accessories are especially useful! Love (still) to make a stocking up for my grown daughter…she works so hard being such a good Mommy to my two little granddaughters!

You’ve listed some great ideas in your stocking stuffer posts! I get some interesting looks when I pull my pocket knife out of my purse to take care of a string or open a box or… :)

And there is nothing quite like a pen that writes nice!
