FOR HER: Bass Pro Shops

December 8, 2008 By Stephanie

FOR HER: Bass Pro Shops 1While you’re shopping at Bass Pro Shops, don’t forget about the women in your life. Sporting goods are most certainly not “just for the guys.” I enjoy hiking, camping, running, walking, and whitewater rafting too, thank-you-very-much. I can’t say the same about hunting and fishing, however…the whole “watching-furry-animals-and-fish-friends-die” scenario just isn’t my thing.

Bass Pro Shops offers clothing, accessories, jewelry, hats, and other fun products for women so feel free to browse to your heart’s content.

Here’s one stocking stuffer idea to get you started…

FOR HER: Bass Pro Shops 2Bass Pro Shops Blow Out Visor for Ladies ($7.95 each)

These contemporary caps feature “distressed” detailing and fantastic color combinations designed just for her.

This stylish visor will keep the sun off of her face as she hikes through huge canyons…or hikes through the nearby park with a toddler (I, personally, think the latter requires more energy and strength).

Or, you could always go with the Gerber Drop Point Serrated Edge Knife that I featured in the “FOR HIM” section…

By the way, don’t forget you can enter to win a $100 gift card to Bass Pro Shops on the previous post.

YOUR TURN: Do YOU enjoy hunting/fishing? What other outdoor activities are on your “hobby list”?

If your husband is a Serious Bass Angler like mine, you’ve got to get him some of these bass fishing t-shirts. I bought my husband some for Christmas, and they have already become part of my regular t-shirt rotation. He swapped out some of his old fishing shirts for these new ones and they look great!!! Much better than what he was wearing before!!! Go to http://www.bassfury.com , neither you or he will be disappointed!!! The long sleeve ones are both his and my favorite. Definitely getting him some more!!!

    Sincerely,

    BassGirl

No hunters in this house, but the kids like to fish (I can watch). I’d rather putter in the garden.

I love to hunt, fish, camp and to just be outside! I took this up in order to be around my husband more. We love to be together and enjoy teaching our grandchildren the love of the outdoors!

I used to love fishing with my dad when I was little and still do now. I have never gone hunting, it doesn’t sound too appealing.

I actually hunt and fish and enjoy both! I found a newfound love for hunting after my son was born. There’s just something about sitting in the peace and quiet of nature that’s VERY appealing when you have a fussy baby/toddler at home!LOL!

I haven’t been fishing for a while but I’ve always enjoyed it, which is good because my husband is a fly fisherman.
