GIVEAWAY: Uniform Advantage

March 30, 2012 By Stephanie 53 Comments

One of my closest friends is a nurse. She is exactly the kind of person you would want to have around in any kind of crisis – competent, capable, calm, and compassionate.

Fortunately for her, there are a lot of fun scrub options available in 2012. Gone are the days of baggy, solid blue sets – designed with the male physique in mind. Scrubs are now super versatile – in colors, patterns, and figure-flattering styles.

For example, take a look at this pretty number from UniformAdvantage.com:

And how’s this for an updated doctor’s coat? So feminine and modern.

UniformAdvantage.com offers scrubs for men and women in a wide variety of colors and designs. Also – check out the “Sale” section with tops and bottoms starting at $6.99.

Please take a second to pass this giveaway along to a nurse or doctor you appreciate – or enter to win on their behalf.

WIN IT! One winner will receive a $50 gift certificate to UniformAdvantage.com! To enter, leave any topic-related comment on this post prior to Friday, April 6 at 11:59 p.m. All generic comments like “Enter me!” or “Love it” will be disqualified. Winner must provide a US mailing address.

* I received compensation for this featured post.

*UPDATE* The winner is #33 Gina. Congratulations!

entering for a friend… definitely LOVE that black coat – what a great style if you have to wear “uniforms” … I think it’s great that medical staff have more options these days…although if I had to wear scrubs, I would not like the “cutesy” prints at all… but I would like the more fitted options for female bodies! :)

This would be nice. Uniforms can be so expensive and then you are less likely to get comfortable uniforms because of cost.

My Mom is a nurse and is always talking about how she lives in scrubs, but wishes she had time/money to invest in good ones. I would love to win this for her! She’s just had to drop a ton of money on repairing an Air Conditioner and replacing a back windshield of the van she drives because one of my little brothers threw a rock at it and broke it.

Wow. I am humbled by your kind words, friend.

The most ironic thing is that I really need to be entered in your giveaway! Although I admire many of the adorable flattering scrub fashions like the ones you featured, I am guilty of most often wearing the shapeless solid-colored variety.

Some of them have gotten me through seven years as a nurse and two pregnancies! (If that isn’t a commentary on their boxy shape, I don’t know what is!) Since I don’t work as much these days, I never feel thrilled about spending money on my work attire. But, as I’m sure Amanda can attest, my scrub wardrobe could use an update.

P.S. My husband is going to laugh out loud that you described me as calm;-)

This is such an awesome giveaway!!! As a nurse who hasn’t bought any scrubs in over a year, I could definitely use them. :) I also lost 15 pounds so the scrubs I do own look a little “baggy” to say the least. It would be great to have some that were flattering and actually fit. ;)
