How to Make Homemade Carrot Juice

August 25, 2012 By Stephanie

How to Make Homemade Carrot Juice 1Have you tried Carrot Juice? If not, don’t be frightened by the bold tangerine color. It’s really quite delicious and full of antioxidants.

Drink a glass and you’ll be protecting your heart, strengthening your eyes, and reducing your risk of cancer.

No need to hold your nose! This juice tastes good too.

There are many different ways to make carrot juice. Some people think that juicing requires a fancy juicer, but…Tim has since proved otherwise.

Wash a handful of carrots. No peeling necessary.

Add them to your blender, along with crushed ice.

Pour in chilled Tropicana Pure Premium Orange Juice, which is made from 100% Florida oranges and has no added sugars/sweeteners. OJ is also a good source of vitamin C, folate, and potassium.

Blend to your desired consistency.

Next time, we may add a bit of 7up or sparkling wine.

Cheers to fall! Cheers to back-to-school! Cheers to good health!

My 2 year old and I’s current favorite green smoothie flavor is: a little water and a big handful of baby spinach, blend until smooth. Add 6-10 baby carrots (or 1-2 large carrots) and blend until smooth. We then add 2-3 fresh peaches. Yum! I love how just blending the fruit or vegetable (as opposed to juicing) still retains the fiber.

I love V8 Splash but never thought of making my own, lol. Would probably be pretty yummy though-thanks for sharing how easy it is!
