When the turquoise Tiny Prints box arrived on my doorstep on Tuesday, I immediately opened it to look at our New Year cards “in the flesh.” I previewed the design online, but there’s something special about holding a card in your hands (which is why I’ve never been a hug fan of e-cards).
As always, the cards exceeded my expectations. Tiny Prints has beautiful, modern designs that are printed on their signature matte (which I prefer to glossy). The pictures always come out crystal clear and the design process is super streamlined. Upload your photos, drag them into boxes, add your text, select your preferences, and you’re done!
We’ve been sending out New Year cards the past few years since December is always such a crazy month. Besides, I love the fresh possibilities of a brand new year and sending out good cheer to go along with it.
If you didn’t mail out cards this year, there’s still time! You can totally get away with New Year cards thru the end of January.
Or, start a new tradition and send out Valentine’s Day cards. I never would have thought of it, but it seems like the perfect time of year to send love via the USPS.
I hope you’ll mail out cards this year (especially if you’re among my family/friends). Receiving a card with updated photos is a true gift. I always treasure each one that lands in my mailbox, don’t you?
* Thanks to Tiny Prints for providing me with a credit to use toward photo cards. Although that was super nice of them, I want to stress that Tiny Prints actually is my favorite brand for photo cards. Be sure to follow @tinyprints on twitter for discount codes.
