Products for People Who Work at Home: Erin Condren

January 12, 2010 By Stephanie 123 Comments

Quick Question for you:

  • Do you use an online calendar to manage your schedule…?
  • Or do you use an old-fashioned planner with pen and ink?

I use a “hybrid” organization strategy. I keep track of birthdays via Facebook and an Excel spreadsheet, but I like to jot down my daily to-dos, short and long-term goals, and other notes on paper.

If you’re looking for a super-cool product to help you stay organized this year, you need to check out Erin Condren’s Life Planner ($48). Available in an assortment of modern and lovely designs, the week-at-a-glance planner features a birthday planner, 264 colorful circle stickers, blank pages for notes, and much, much more. It’s a sophisticated, comprehensive planner that is sure to help you stay-on-top of your busy schedule in 2010. Best of all, you can personalize it with your favorite family photo and corresponding text. It will make you smile every time you look at it.

The Weekly Schedule Pad ($30) is equally impressive. Cheerful and cosmopolitan, the personalized desk pad is well-suited for any kind of person…whether you’re an A-type personality or a more creative type. The delightful color palate will energize you…and you’re bound to think all kinds of good thoughts about the upcoming week as you sit down to make your plans.

WIN IT! One winner will receive a Life Planner ($48) and Weekly Schedule Pad ($30) by Erin Condren. To enter, leave any topic-related comment on this post prior to Tuesday, January 19th at 11:59 p.m. (Don’t forget to follow the rules…all generic comments like “Enter me!,” “Love it,” and “Cool stuff!” will be disqualified.).

* I received product samples for review purposes.

*UPDATE* The winner is #58 Brandy. Congratulations!

I am currently a second year college student pursuing a double major, while also working as a Resident Assistant in an all girl’s dorm. With all of my activities, I have realized that time management is key to succeeding as a female in the business world. For this very reason, I visited my academic advisor today to ask her several questions concerning my career in college…and then I noticed her planner. I immediately asked her where she purchased her planner because I simply had to have one. So here I am tonight, perusing the erin condren website, to purchase the planner that can help me with time management.

I never used anything until this year. I’m using a planner to keep track of my blog posts and newsletter topics and membership project.

I use an online calendar to manage my work schedule – but my personal schedule suffers – I end up using scraps of paper. I think I need to go back to an
    old-fashioned planner

I am the kind of person who forgets everything. I had an exam scheduled on the 15th but thought it was the 17th. Nearly disastrous. I am always looking for ways to keep on track.

We have a family calendar on the fridge and I have a personal calendar for my Scentsy business.

Normally I never need a planner, but pregnancy-forgetfulness syndrome is making me crazy lately! It’s so frustrating to just completely blank on things, since I’ve never in my life been like this. So a planner might be an excellent asset once I start juggling job and baby!

I love to have this planner to help me when I schedule my appointments or meetings from day to day and not lose track.

As I said in my comment on the bulletin board post, I’m definitely a list person. I’d love to have a small planner that I could take along with me everywhere to keep track of my to-do list, my weekly meals, my grocery list, my birthday list, etc.

She makes the cutest things! One of my closest friends has been using Erin Condren planners for a few years. They are so styly and fun. I think it is so great that you can customize the covers too! I keep track of important dates, like birthdays in my head, and an excel document (and Facebook helps too). People say I have a freak memory because I remember so many dates and such, but as time goes on, I have been slipping! I also love the pictures you put in yours! So sweet to open up to that every day isn’t it?!

I carry a weekly planner in my purse/diaper bag/briefcase… it’s the only way I can keep track of things.

I like what I have so don’t enter me in the contest but I have to agree with you – something like this, tangible, written lists are an essential for me!

I like to have the calendar visible to everyone in the house. And I still write it all down.

I have yet to find a planning system that really works well for me. Perhaps this is the one?!

I usually have a calendar hanging in my kitchen but haven’t picked one up for this year yet. I do a lot of calendar things on my computer too. It usually works out great.

I actually think one of these would be great for me. I used to not write things down, but I have been lately. Organization would be great!

I don’t do online calendars…. for some reason I have to write it by hand. I love good organizational tools like these!
