Themed Weekend: I Feel Pretty

October 3, 2008 By Stephanie

Themed Weekend: I Feel Pretty 1Hello Beautiful Mamas! This weekend is for YOU. It’s fun to ooh and aah over baby gear and knick-knacks for kids, but sometimes it’s also nice to read about products (and have a chance to win products…) especially for you. So stay tuned…

And, in the meantime, sing along to that famous tune…

I feel pretty,
Oh, so pretty,
I feel pretty and witty and bright!
And I pity
Any girl who isn’t me tonight.

I feel charming,
Oh, so charming
It’s alarming how charming I feel!
And so pretty
That I hardly can believe I’m real.

See the pretty girl in that mirror there:
Who can that attractive girl be?
Such a pretty face,
Such a pretty dress,
Such a pretty smile,
Such a pretty me!

I feel stunning
And entrancing,
Feel like running and dancing for joy,
For I’m loved
By a pretty wonderful boy!

I had to laugh when I saw this post. I sing this to my daughter when we’re getting ready all the time. She now sings it with me and it cracks me up.

It’s SO nice to be reminded of this especially on days filled with snotty noses, poopie diapers, and tantrums!LOL! Thanks for such a pick me up!

I would say darn you for putting that infernal song in my head…but then I would have to admit that I own the soundtrack and think it is EXCELLENT house cleaning music.
