Themed Weekend: Sugar & Spice

December 13, 2008 By Stephanie

sugar-and-spice themed weekendWelcome to “Sugar & Spice.”

This weekend is all about products, clothes, and accessories that are designed especially for little girls.

That said, if you have a houseful of boys, feel free to stay tuned. Some of the giveaways will definitely apply to you too. And, besides, who couldn’t use a little dose of prettiness every once in awhile?

I have a little boy and would gladly have a house full of them, but there’s nothing as cute as girly stuff!

    I’m really hoping that #2 is a girl too… I wouldn’t know what to do with a boy! :)

So I know this isn’t about literal sugar and spice, but it reminded me of a recipe I have (and used last night!) that’s sugary and spicy. :) It’s a spice dip to dip fruit (or whatever you like, it’s that tasty) in. Take a cup of heavy whipping cream and whip it up to whipped cream. In a separate bowl, mix 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp allspice, and 1/4 tsp nutmeg. Carefully fold the sugar and spice mixture into the whipped cream until even. Try not to eat too much ’cause it’s that good… :)
