Not only are “real” workout clothes more flattering than your ratty t-shirts and sweats, they’ll also make you feel more athletic and they are typically more functional. For example, a moisture wicking shirt will likely be more comfortable than a cotton tee and running pants will probably flow better than your baggy pajama pants.
Since its winter, I thought I’d spotlight an outfit for colder weather. It actually snowed here yesterday and it’s currently 49 degrees (Brrrr…laugh if you will…I’m an Arizona girl).
Today I’m giving away my favorite winter workout outfit to one of my loyal readers courtesy of Brooks Running…
First, for the buttom, I recommend Energy Flare pants. They’re stretchy, but not skin tight. They flare, but they don’t trip you up either.
Second, for the top, I recommend Energy 3/4. It’s soft, the “cap” sleeve design is nice, and the 3/4 sleeve length is flattering.
