With the coming and going of Christmas (and after reading this post by Steph at Adventures in Babywearing and watching the movie she mentions), I've been thinking a lot about the amount of "stuff" in our life. There are toys and books, clothes and shoes, furniture and frivolities, odds and ends...all throughout our house.
I am all about simplifying my life and tonight we're doing our semi-routine "purge" - going through our house and filling up bags for charity and bags for the garbage man. And we're hoping to not just go out and replace our old "stuff" with new "stuff." We want to focus on other things that matter...
Like teaching our daughter that life is not about "stuff" (but about people).
We also want to be responsible about the kind of world that we leave behind us for the next generation (you know the message...recycle, reduce, reuse).
One small way to do this is by cutting back on the amount of plastic and "disposable" bags that we use every week (think about all those trips to the grocery store, Target, the corner drugstore, even the library).
Of course, there are all kinds of excuses that I tell myself: "Cloth bags are too bulky, too difficult to carry, too inconvenient." Well, not all cloth bags...take, the flip & tumble bag, for instance. The flip & tumble bag rolls up into a tiny ball and fits into your purse with ease (plus, it doubles as a toy for an antsy toddler when you're on the go!). All you have to do is pull it out and - kazam - it's one easy way to help save the world!
Only fifteen bucks to buy a bag that will help me save the world? I'm in!
WIN IT! One winner will receive a flip & tumble bag. To enter, simply leave a comment and your e-mail address prior to Friday, January 4, at midnight. The winner will be announced and contacted on Saturday, January 5. * Winner must provide a U.S. mailing address.
* UPDATED * The winner is #55 bree. Congratulations!
I would love one!
count me in too!

We are all about eliminating stuff and going green. This bag would be perfect for our trips to Trader Joe's!
What a great bag! I'm all about simplicity and convenience! Thanks for the chance to win!
I need to improve my bag-carrying ways.
Love the bag!
I could just pull this out of the purse when I checking out at Target, etc. What a great product!
This would be great when going shopping with the kids - can always keep it in the car or diaper bag
I love how small it folds up.
what a great bag!
I love reusable bags and have been giving them as gifts, too.
This looks like a great product! Our new years resolution is to be more "green", and since we just moved we are starting over new for 2008.
I would definitely use one of these. My email is [email protected]

I've never seen a cloth bag roll up so small!! i'd love to have one, or two, or ten!!!
My husband would be so proud if I won. He's trying to save the world one plastic bag at a time!
I have a diaper crammed with all the essentials, but there is totally room for this little guy in my bag. I love it! We bought the cloth bags our grocery sells, but they are still pretty bulky. What a cool win! Pick me!!!!
I love these bags!
We have pretty much cut out all plastic bags in my house, this would be really useful.
I have some Chico Bags, which I like, but I'm always looking for more reusable ones so I can cut my plastic bag intake to zero. Hope I win!
I love this ! I do my best to remember to bring my cloth bags to the store but often forget them since I keep them in the trunk. I love how I could toss this in my diaper bag and GO! Awesome!
I love this concept. I have also thought about how bulky cloth bags can be and that is what has held me up with carting one around. This is right up my alley. I am way into my purging right now!
I've got a couple reusable bags, but they're kind of bulky, and I often forget to bring them into the store with me. I love that this one rolls up so small. No more excuses!
Count me in! I would love to do my part to save the world, one bag at a time!
How cool is this??
I'd love this!

Great invention! I could use one!
Our grocery store sells reusable shopping bags for $1 and they're great but not something to carry with me on errands, this product looks perfect for that!
great colors and how smart to always have a bag handy.
What a cool bag!! Someone was really thinkin'!
Wow, this is a great bag!
That was a great video...made hubby and i think about all the "stuff" in our lives. I didn't realize that this is another way we are hurting our environment. We too would like to rid ourselves of the excess (and avoid replacing it with more stuff).
It sounds and looks great, I would love to try one.
Love it and I love Envirosax at Delight.com, I got some of them for Christmas gifts, but I love this one as well. Thanks!

What a fun little bag!
Thats a super neat idea.. and yes I hear you on the stuff bit.. Ive been cleaning out the house and posting most of my stuff on freecycle which is great as other people can use it and it doesnt go to the dump!
I blogged you too :)
We would love this! thanks
What a cute bag!
Great IDea! Id love a reusable bag. Ugh- even though I do reuse those plastic bags- for shipping, poopy diapers, and dog cleanup. I hate to see the tons of bags we come home with- not to mention those that break because of heavy items- a reusable bag would be just the [email protected]
Love the idea! Count me in please!
I am so on the same page as you are. Funny, I posted the Story of Stuff on my blog yesterday. I think I need to watch it at least once a month to stay focused....especially when I want to rush out to the mall to buy the "it" shirt for date night. Also, I am totally tracking with you about keeping our kids educated about stuff and what is important. I would love to use this bag and love it when I see others at the grocery store using reusable bags. Thanks.
That looks great! Count me in!
We have been switching to reusable bags when grocery shopping. This would be wonderful to have for when we are at other retailers. Thanks for the great giveaway!

I'm trying to simplify my life as well. I just love this bag, what a great idea! I have a few canvas bags, but I almost always forget to bring them, lol. This is such a great idea, hope to win!
This bag looks amazing
We love reuseable bags!
I'm in the market!
Wow, that really is amazing!! Thanks for sharing!
I love how tiny that bag is. I try to reuse the plastic bags from Target and the grocery store, at least, but this would be a great item to use, too. And I hear you about the amount of "stuff". I think we all get that slightly overwhelmed feeling just after Christmas. I, too, have to wait until the kids go back to school, then I can purge a bit more.
Hi, What an unusual, fun bag! Please enter me in your contest. Thanks,Cindi
Sounds like a good product. Count me in.
I was just telling a friend how overwhelmed I feel with STUFF everywhere. Of course, my kids don't want to get rid of any of the dusty, unused toys that are sprinkled throughout the house even though they scored big time with Santa. Ugh, I'll wait till they go back to school and start clearing out...
This is a great product! I would like to try it. cookiecutter72 AT hotmail DOT com
How very clever! I would love to have this bag.

I'd love to take this bag to the store!
Cool! Count me in!
What a great idea for a bag! It seems so easy to scrunch in!
This is cool. It would be great for travel to stick into your suitcase when you anticipate needing a carry-on for a few extra souvenirs on the trip back.
Sounds great, and I can't believe it gets so tiny! g[email protected]
This is great!
